This stall used to operate from Restaurant
Cheong Hwa,
Brickfield(Next to YMCA). But the whole restaurant was closed down around August 2008 to make way for a hotel.
Mamarazi was looking for this
CKT stall for a long time and finally got to know the new premises of this restaurant
thru SK. SK told
Mamarazzi most of the stalls from Restaurant
Cheong Hwa have shifted to a restaurant a few doors away from the old premises. It's now located in Restaurant Hing
Ang.
This is one of the BEST
CKT in KL.
Wah...my eyes must be deceiving me.
Mamarazzi ordered a "Big" plate of
CKT.
Kempunan after 2 years
tarak eat this
CKT. RM5-50 for big size
CKT with egg.
WOW! Really BIG plate. See! Overflowing and
timbun so high like a small mountain. Taste still the same with generous portion of prawns,
chinese sausage, "see hum" and pork lard. The pork lards were big crunchy and fresh. Yummy!
So happy to have found back what that was lost.Thank you very much SK. Also
huggy Papa for bringing me
makan here.
Im the first one.

ReplyDeleteHi Small Kuching, I really miss 'see hum char kueh teow'....to think I would have it at least once a week all over the country old days.
ReplyDeleteThere is 'see hum' sold here, but frozen, taste awful!
So the fried kueh teow has beef instead.
Nice pics....love that shop. You take good pics!
Best regards, Lee.
Oh char keoy teow (CKT)looks yummy..might drop by one day. Talking about char keoy teow lately there is a massive email in circulation calling for a boycott of Lorong Selamat (CKT) in Penang as Penangnites claimed the CKT lady bozz is too snooty..Wow the price is RM6.50; RM7.00 & RM9.00 gosh quite pricey for a plate of CKT?
ReplyDelete@Cikgu... this hotel is 3 star hotel... the price around Rm80 per nite. Looks clean... downstairs of it got Old town Coffee.
