My Little Christmas Shopping / Chomping & WInter Fest at MidValley

 Have you done all your Christmas shopping yet? It's the last week before Christmas. I don;t know why but I feel so excited this year.  Kept pestering Mamarazzi to put up the Christmas tree and when the tree is up, I kept counting the days.

Asked Papa and Mamarazzi when can we go Christmas Shopping. Finally  we done it last Friday.  Went to Midvalley Shopping Mall very early in the morning but there were many who are earlier than us.

 Time for "wefie". Mamarazzi seems to have grown two "tanduk",

Oh! what fun it to munch

while Mamarazzi is snapping all the way. 

 Can't stop chomping. 

 This year no Planner   or storybook given by Midvalley. Instead, they have this little book for use to go hunting for stamp. As a fun game gua. No prizes.

I had fun hunting the secret locations of the stamps while Christmas shopping at the same time.

 Got our Christmas shopping done pretty fast and headed toward the gift wrapping counter.

This year they have very attractive gift wrapping. 

 Nice? 

 After Christmas shopping all done, it is time to browse around. Saw there is something called Winter Fest at the exhibition Center upstairs. Not sure what is is but since free entry, we went in too lah.

 Alamak... this post looks like someone pulak. Oh...it's a mixed fair. Got electrical goods, food, toys and some other stuffs. 

 Mamarazzi say can see cannot buy... so i look only lor.

 After that we head to the food fair side. Fuiyoh...loads of free testing . 

 yay! just in time for Free Cotton Candy

 Yup! 1pm to 1.30pm is free cotton candy time. 

 Loads of food too sample. There were cakes, cookies, biscuits, ham sausages , popcorn and many more.  I walked a few rounds there and my tummy full liao lo. Thirsty also have free drinks leh.

 Ho! Ho! Ho!

 Mamarazzi asked me to choose some Pretz. RM10 for 4 packets . Buy 4 free 1. And i told her I purposely choose this coz I knew she like to eat this flavour.

Came home very happy and start putting the pressie under the tree.

We don't have snow here but the other day we had a snowflake in the garden. It's Snowflake Water Lily. blooming for the first time . Yay! Christmas is coming.

My Shopping Experience at Big Bad Wolf Books Sale (2nd and 3rd Round) 2016

Guess all of you know why I have been silent these two weeks.

Yup...what else. busy busy busy with Big Bad Wolf Sale and some other stuffs. Today is the final day. After this, will have to "puasa"(fasting) books till the next BBW.

From past experience, one round of BBWKL is never enough. This is because BBW will replenish new stocks whenever stocks finished.

We went to 2nd round of BBW on Tuesday.. the 5th or 6th day of the sale if you are counting Preview Day. As expected, plenty of new books . But unfortunately, this also means no more old stocks.

Saw the big stacks of Garfield box set was replaced by this Sesame Street box set. Ten hardcover books for RM30 only. Didn't buy. Something that she regretted later.

Mamarazzi was hoping that she can get some more of these bricks books . Super worth it.  RM15 for this set  which include a book about rescue vehicles and also bricks that can be use to build 3 vehicles and a figurine.

 She bought one each on preview day. Came home discovered that it's of good quality. Wanted to buy more as gifts. But by the 2nd round...no more liao.

Haiz...when will she learn ...when in doubt,  just grab and buy. Do not hesitate when comes to BBW. Sure people will grab all.

I got a new hair cut to go for Wolf hunting.  The Wolf hunter look. 

Unfortunately, the Barber a.k.a. Mamarazzi  only have L-Licence. Wanted to "write" the alphabet "J" but somehow it look more like "T" instead. Hahahaha.... I am "Mr T " of the A-Team said mamarazzi. Sorry ah...gua dunno who or what is A-Team leh.

This round Mamarazzi very happy with me. Each year, Mamarazzi hunt books for me at BBW. But this time , thanks to Mr Wolf for providing trolley, I went hunting for myself.

I have come a long way from my 1st BBW in 2009 (http://www.smallkucing.com/2009/05/big-bad-wolf-books-sale-dataran-hamodal.html) I was just over 1 year old back then .

Now, I can hunt for myself.  I went to Mamarazzi with a trolley full of books, but kena she censored. I had to return some of the books back to their respective tables as she claims the books are too young or too old for me.

Mamarazzi also very happy coz I also hunt for books to give to the Red Reader Hood . A charity event that is supported by BBW.

 However, I managed to get these pass her. 

I "die die" want to buy these two books though she claims it's too old for me. Too many words. I won. 

She got me this world Map. Ah...now I know where Auntie Yoong lives. 

 Mamarazzi also happy coz she managed to collect BBW bookmarks. Yup...each year she look forward to their bookmarks.

Mamarazzi only got 2 books for herself. The Young Sherlock is for a friend. 

 

Mamarazzi very bad leh. She said since I insist wanna buy so many books, I had to carry them to the car. Aiyoyo.......wait up!!!

 That night, I did some "smuggling". Excited to flip through my pile of books. 

 We went Wolf hunting for the last round of this year yesterday. Once again, a trolley for me and a trolley for Mamarazzi.

 Mamarazzi was sad to see some books have been vandalised. 

 Toys missing for books. Books missing from box set. Why? Why? 

On our 2nd visit, Mamarazzi overheard a boy chided his brother/friend. He admonished him for taking toys from books which have toys in it. Mamarazzi didn't see any stealing . Otherwise she would have hand the boys over to be devour by the Wolf. 

If she caught me doing that, I would kena upside down from her. 

 Anyway, on a happier note. She found more good stuffs there. This 24 cute  pencils with cute erasers plus a book for RM20 only. This time she didn't hesitated. Straight away grabbed and posted in FB. Friend saw and whatsapps her.

 It must have been 3rd time lucky. She found Hagar The Horrible for herself. 

I wanted Wimpy Kid. But it was still in box set form . Mamarazzi bumped into Mr Wolf and he said to ask me Whatsapps him the Wimpy Kids books that I am looking for. He would help me to find.

Wah..true to his word. Not long after that, he called and said found the 3 books that I wanted. Thank you very much Mr Wolf!

Yesterday, I managed to find quite a number of books for myself. When I finished hunting, Mamarazzi was still hunting for her books. Yup.. I told mamarazzi this 3rd round is for her to hunt books for herself instead for me.

I parked my cart at the side of the Cafe and waited for Mamarazzi with Papa. I discovered that they have parking warden . They would write on a piece of paper the time that I park my cart there. Maximum parking time is 1 hour. The cart would be towed away after 1 hour.  What a clever idea. Hmm... come to think of it, lucky they didn't charge parking fees. *LOL* I wanna work there when I grow up.

These are some of her haul and mine . Managed to grab the last Sesame Street box set. Haiz... the other day got plenty, she didn't take. Now hunted up and down for it. Managed to find 3 sets but not in good condition due to vandals. 

Ooh ya...one sad news. Saw BBW facebook and they announced that they will no longer be going to other states . What a sad sad day. On consolation, ones can still get affordable priced books from BookXcess Online.

Big Bad Wolf Preview Day 2016

Yesterday was the Big Bad Wolf Books Sale Preview Day. Went there very early in the morning. Passed some preview passes to some friends there. Then waited for Mr Wolf to open up its doors. 

First impression when got into the sale. Hmmm...seems smaller.  Venture further in. Uiks...upstairs Food Court not there anymore nor is the Playland. (no babysitting service liao)

Now they have a Cafe with Christmas decoration on the ground floor for people to rest their feet and have a bite to eat. 

Mamarazzi kept commenting this year sale seems to be smaller. Floor space taken up by the Cafe and Premium Zone but but but see this! The receipt when unrolled is taller than me leh!

Bad Mr Wolf and the Wolf Gang. They must be conspiring with Mamarazzi. She is trying to get me to read more Chinese books . Mr Wolf brought in loads of Chinese books. 

 And this resulted a trolley full of books for me and sobs sobs...predominantly is Chinese Books.

Don't worry. Majority of BBW books is still English books but just that Mamarazzi managed to grab so many Chinese books instead of English books for me .

And the Chinese books were so cheap some more leh.

Babies, toddlers and young children would be very happy coz there are loads and loads of activities, play a sound books , books with toys and cute stuffs for them. Parents!  beware. Your pockets will be empty if you bring along your kids as they will wanna ask you to buy everything within their sight.

There are loads of Colouring Books for adults with price ranges between RM6 to RM25. She bought this Flowering Pattern book for RM8 only.

 The RM25 ones comes with colour pencils. She regretted putting it back now. Should have bought it.

Nevertheless, she bought some English comics for me too

 I found Wimpy Kid Box Set and immediately put into my trolley. It's only RM100 for 10 books but she made me put it back coz I have 5 of the books in the set already.

Instead, she found this for me. It's RM10 only with book and audio CD.

Mamarazzi can't resist grabbing this. "Harry POTTY and the Deathly BORING".

 Lego vs Mixels RM6 members price and this super cool Science kit is for me

 Mamarazzi asked me to choose one of the Lego books there for myself. Normal price RM40 but members price RM36 only.

But I didn't want those. Instead I choose this. Also something like Lego . RM15 only

 Since I chose that, Mamarazzi decided to get me this too. Also RM15.

 Looks like her friends are into colouring. 

 Except for one who is into Minions. 

 She got these two box sets for herself for collection. RM30. The brown ones have 4 hardcovers books while the green one have 10.

 A little lamb just like the one she bought for me at BookXcess years ago. This is gift for a friend's newborn .

Purposely snapped photo of this Mockingjay Note book to make a fellow blogger jealous. She is so into Hunger Games books.

Saw in BBW that they have the Box set with 2 or 3 types of different covers style. Too bad Mamarazzi have the books already . Else she would have taken one home.

This year preview feels somewhat a bit sober as compared to previous years. Many book prices seems to have gone up by around RM2 thanks to our current economy. Can't afford to buy diamond ring and pricey handbags but at least still can get free plastic bags from BBW la.

Hopefully next year Mr Wolf and gang will bring back the Food Court upstairs. At least we will have a choice whether to eat RM4 bun/RM6 Egg Mayo sandwich or to choose to eat Pizza with a soft drink for just RM7.90.  One Egg Mayo Sandwich at the Cafe,  can buy 2 Tom & Jerry books leh.

On the positive side, Mamarazzi is very happy that Mr Wolf have introduced Members Discount and yellow stickers items (for extra discount ).

Mamarazzi no need to go through the hassle of going to separate counters to get discount vouchers. And then got into the sale to spend more in order to use the discount vouchers.

This time, the cashiers straight away offset the amount when paying. Thank you for the extra discount!
