Restaurant Sate Kajang Haji Samuri, Kajang

We dropped by Kajang for sate Kajang after playing at the paddling pool. Lucky arrived early...around 6pm. Not much crowd yet.

Papa went and ordered some Satay for us.

Hmmm....dunno why....maybe just our imagination but the satay here feel or seems to taste better that at their other outlets/branches.

Again very generous with the gravy and sambal.

To cool off, Papa ordered ABC with Ice Cream topping. Yummy! I like this more than the satay. Probably coz I was a bit full already with the Roti John earlier on.

Saw this cart outside the restaurant. Can't help myself. Climbed up and asked Mamarazzi to snap my photos.

Also saw a motorcycle parked outside the restaurant. Wah.,... this Sate Kajang have delivery service leh. Fuiyoh!

Free Kids Paddling at Precinct 9, Putrajaya

Hi ya! School holidays is just around the corner. Have you planned wanna go where? For me of course I wanna go to play water la. Hot days ahead leh.

Last school holiday, we found another free paddling pool in Putrajaya. This time it's at Precinct 9. The above are the operation hours.

Quite big. Think it's bigger than the one we went to at Precinct 2. But the water was not that clear la.

Next to it, a playground. But most kids seems to prefer water instead.

Right opposite of the Paddling Pool , a food court. Loads of good food there but this Roti john attracted Mamarazzi's attention.

Bought one "long" one.

Full of yummylicious meat, egg, vege and mayo.

Of course I came running from the pool when I sense that there is good food around.

Grabbed myself a bite of the delicious Roti John

Before I zoomed back to the pool.

Yippee ya yay ! Yippee ya yoh! Here I come!

All this running around sure had me famished. Bodek-ed Mamarazzi to buy me one more of the Roti John. Yum! delicious.

Pickle Momster - Lime & Roselle

Planted Roselle and it was flowering/fruiting a lot ...that is till it was attacked by bugs....now two trees died and the last one is dying too.

What to do....fast fast harvest the fruit la

Mamarazzi thought wanna make jam but kinda lazy. Packed the harvested fruits into the freezer first la. When the mood comes baru make la

Still too much fruits. Google and found some would make pickle out of the Roselle.

For easy method of peeling the fruit. Just cut the bottom and take put the seed.

After that, just blanch the fruit for about 10seconds. Don't wait too long ya else the fruit would "melt" . That was what happen to Mamarazzi's first batch of blanched Roselle.

Let the fruit cool down. Add sugar and lemon juice. Mix it well and put into jar. Can be eat a week later.

Me? I didn't like the taste. Preferred McD Sundae better. But Mamarazzi said maybe if put as topping on the Sundae, I will like leh....but no thanks.

While in a "pickle" mood, guess what else she pickled? Yup...Lime  Saw in an FB group people pickle lime. Seems good for sore throat.

Again.....just add sugar . The sugar will melt. But these have to wait a month to be ready for consumption.

Papa said all put sugar ah? Not good la. Got Salted version ka? Alamak.....errr....again pakai hentam method la. just add loads of Salt la. Few years ago Mamarazzi did try to make the salted version but then the salt did not melt.

Then a friend told her in order for the salt to melt, have to put under the sun. Hmmm .....still haven't really "melt" yet as at todate but can see the salt is damp lah. Maybe it takes long time for the salt to melt gua. Meantime...keeping the fingers crossed la.

Restaurant Bayu Malam, Bagan Lalang

Just a few more days to school holiday (again). Last school holiday photos yet to finish posting up leh. In February we went to stay at the Avani Sepang Gold Coast Resort. Coz it was a free stay, no free dinner was provided. Hence that evening we went out to hunt for food lo.

Wokay...eeeny meeny minnie more...... tembak ....eat at the Restaurant Bayu Malam la. It's not that far from the Resort and also saw many people eating here. Food should be good , right?

Wow...loads of fresh fish and seafood. Price not really that cheap coz Chinese New Year time. Normal days should be okay la.

Finally......sotong goreng tepung(Fried squid) arrived first. Can't wait for Mamarazzi to snap photo.

 Followed by mixed vegetables.

Once Upon Sate Kajang Hj Samuri, Damansara Uptown

Once upon a December, we were at Damansara Uptown. Went to have the Curry Banana Leaf Rice with a friend. It was delicious. Makan till full already...but when walking to our car, our friend noticed the famous Sate Kajang located few doors away.

Apa lagi....makan...jangan tak makan. Went in. Ordered just a few sticks for our friend to try.

They give a a big bowl of garvy for the satay. Very thick and with a lot of crushed peanuts.

Those who like their satay more spice can add the spicy sambal provided.

For those who "eksyen" and added too much spicy sambal...there's the cooling cucumber slices to the rescue. And you may also have some Nasi Himpit. It's a type of pressed/mashed rice . Hard to explain. Try google... LOL Nice to have with the Satay Gravy.

For me...no need la...I'll just have the satay without the gravy. Must eat more meat wor.... so that i will have more muscles.

Looking for my "tikus" (mouse a.k.a muscles)

Errr....what soes this photo gotta do with the Satay post ah....errr...nothing...just that I asked Mamarazzi to snap photo of me with the Nescafe booth.

Teochew Chendul, Paradigm Mall

Chendol time. This is all because of Auntie Claire. Papa read her blog post some time ago that this Teochew Chendol in Penang tasted very nice.

Wah ...Penang very far leh. Wanna eat now wor...how ah...then found out that Paradigm Mall also have a branch.

Zoom Zoomm....Paradigm Mall we went.

A bowl of Chendol. Hmmm....taste not bad la. Got quite a lot of ingredients leh.

Mamarazzi can't help herself. Ordered a bowl of Assam Laksa. Alamak!!! got Cili padi on top leh.

It tasted quite spicy for her . They gave quite a lot of noodle. However, it would be nicer if the fish meat we not "hancur"...how you say it in English ah? Too minced up? Would be nice if it is more chunky.

Well....each to his/her own.

Errr....Paradigm Mall...no need address gua? It's in LG near Tesco hypermarket.

Have a great weekend ahead !

Delicious Pau(Bun) From Kedai Kopi Shin Lok, Jeram

Once upon a December morning (yup...stale post), we went to Pantai Remis in Kuala Selangor to hunt for fresh seafood for our Christmas party.

Papa read somewhere read that around the area there is a shop selling delicious Pau. Hence we went hunting.

Yay! Found it. Located along the main road near a mosque.

A look at the prices. Hmm...not bad. Bear in mind the price is before implementation of GST ya. Now not sure whether the price remains the same.

Apart from Pau, they also have some fried noodles and fried rice for breakfast.

Surprisingly though it was only around 9am, they already have various vegetables and meat dishes done up. Maybe customers likes their noodles with extra something.

Saw some fried stuffs , carrot cakes and some kuih. Didn't buy those.

Instead I had fried Keoy Teow with egg

Surprisingly, Mamarazzi had "Loh Mai Kai". It's steamed glutinous rice with well marinated chicken meat and mushrooms.

She said she likes the taste very much. Hmm...very high praise for her indeed coz usually she don't like to eat glutinous rice much though she didn't mind making it for Papa and me to eat.

Papa tried several types of their Pau. This coconut pau was not bad. They put quite a lot of filling into it.

Also loved their Vegetable Pau which is made of Sengkuang(Yam Bean). Nice. The Yam bean was not mushy at all. Quite crunchy to taste.

Ahem...too early in the morning to eat much. Hence we "tapau" home some of the Pau. Can enjoy it at home.

If we ever go to Pantai Remis again in the morning, Mamarazzi said we must go and buy some more pau from here. Said she like wor.

They Kopi-O also thick enough for her.

For me, I stick to my Milo Kosong Iced lo.

Keen to try out the pau and other food here? Okies...here is the address from google :-
