Comments:

I hate a book that go on and on about how healthy and good it is to be Vegan. A book that preach non-stop. Am glad I requested this book as this book is none of those things.

It's well written and with a hint of humor too. That's very important to me as most cook books would send me to dreamland very fast.Just look at the "Table of Contentments". Don't you agree Cherise Grifoni have great sense of humor?

Yup, I am not good in cooking. What makes me request for this book, then? Maybe it's my conscience. For wanting to cook a healthier meal for my family. I think this book is a keep for me.

I have to say, I love the way it is written. Simple and concise. The recipe seems easy to make. Instruction is simple to follow.

Don't be surprise if you see some Vegan home cook food appearing in this blog soon. You think Mamarazzi can cook Vegan food based on this book or not? Yes?...

Long Overdue...

Aiyo..this is really embarrassing. It's a long overdue Thank You to Uncle Patrick and Auntie Florence. They "Balik Kampung" early of this month for "Ching Ming".

On the way back, they drop by our place to take us out for lunch and drop goodies for us.

We had lunch at the nearby shop. Then Uncle Patrick brought to KFC coz I have been a "Good Boy".

As usual, I "tapao" Chicky Meal while Mamarazzi had Hot and Spicy Chicken.

She saw they have this new promotion "KFC Krushers". Bought the one with Mint and Lemon Krushers drink.

Aiks...it tasted something like the Ribena Soda with Lemon that Mamarazzi made not long ago

Mamarazzi drank some while waiting for the Lady to pack the Chicky Meal.

Then she noticed something black floating in the drink. Yikes! it's an insect.Hmm...must be from the Mint Leaves.

She told the Lady and the Lady apologised. She immediately made a new drink for Mamarazzi. On top of that, the Lady gave her a large cup soft drink. That was very nice of her.

Hmm...let me look first...no insect ya?

Take photo first of the goodies from Auntie Florence.

"Rope Biscuit". I finished half a packet over a few days by myself.

Very weird color "keropok". Yam and Prawn crackers?

 One whole tub for me.

Mmmmm....sayang Auntie Florence and Uncle Patrick. Oppss....they also gave Heong Peah but ahem ahemm..all gone into tum tum already. Tak sempat snap photo.

Thank you very much Auntie Florence and Uncle Patrick!!!

An Undetermine Location In Klang

Errrr...don't laugh. We were actually looking for Jalan Goh Hock Huat in Klang. Papa had something to do there.

Pusing punya pusing, sesat already although have GPS. Haiz...Map not updated. A lot of street is one way street.

That is how we end up at a Food Court. Mamarazzi forgot to take note of the road name. Now she scratching her head. She thought it's Jalan Gelugor coz the Food Court is behind a corner lot Maybank and opposite of a Lao something something Bak Kut Teh.

Anyway, I was very hungry. I wanted to have noodle. Mamarazzi saw this stall selling home made noodle.

Quite cheap. The noodle was RM2 and the Yong Tau Foo price is around 60sens a piece.

Taste not bad. The noodle quite springy.

A glass of Cincau and a glass of Iced Chinese Tea, RM1-70.

 Alamak...the Fried Noodle Stall just open wor....hmmmm....CKT CKT...shall I?

Hehehe...Mamarazzi can't stand the temptation and ordered a plate of Char Keoy Teow. Don't want Cili, don't want egg, RM3-50. Got quite a lot of big big "see Hum" (Cockles)

Price quite cheap here.

Balik Kampung Gang At Restaurant LYJ , Kampung Baru Sg Buloh

Last Friday, the Balik Kampung Gang struck Restaurant LYJ at Kampung Baru Sg Buloh. There are two LYJ Restaurant at the same row of the shop lot. One is at the end lot while another at in middle.

We parked at the end lot since there are parking available there. Mamarazzi got down and went onto the restaurant. A lady staff asked Mamarazzi whether she made Reservation or not. Mamarazzi answered no. She was then brusquely told by the staff to go to the restaurant located at the middle of the row if she does not have Reservation.

Hmm...minus one mark for courtesy! At least speak lah nicely.

Ding dong ding dong chi ling char lang...we went to the other restaurant. Tu lah! Next time make reservation first.

Pretty soon the rest of the gang arrived.

Wah...arrived aje, Jie Jie Lynn gave me this! Eeeeeee...so cute!!! Thank you very much, Jie Jie Lyn.

Mamarazzi really paiseh. Went and asked, this one can eat ka? She thought it's for decoration only.

This bottle of "Ribena" is sponsored by Auntie Little Bird.

Mamarazzi's glass of "Ribena"

I also curi a but la..Mmmmm..must act macho a bit since my dear is there. Bottom up!

The "condom" ...errr....gloves...what for? Haiyo...call Chicken mah...eat must wear "glove" lo.

Ta~ Da~~ I bet Auntie Little Bird's Sodomized Chicken also loose out to this one.

Can see Mommy Yen horrified at the sight. Closed mouth with tissue paper already. Hope she didn't get nightmare.

Nevertheless, this one is one of the "famous" dish in the restaurant. A must try. This bird cost us RM38.

Ahem ahem...sort of reminds Mamarazzi of the old local movies where adulterer/fornicators who are caught were being punished. Dah lah kena sula, got scissors some more. In case of its a Cock is it?

Nah...jokes aside. Mamarazzi is like a "frog under the coconut shell". It's actually due to the special way they roast the Chicken. The juice is kept in the body of the chicken and when it's cut open with the scissor, the juice will  flow out.

See! The meat so tender and juicy looking though it's a bit "pinkish". No worries..the meat although the meat it's pinkish, it's fully cooked.

Mamarazzi preferred the crispy skin coz it got more taste than the meat. Just like Peking Duck.

This is another of their "famous" taufu dish. Yummmm...I ate this with rice.

At first Mamarazzi was puzzled when she saw this dish was featured in nearly every blog related to this shop.

We also ordered lah. Surprise that they only have one way of making this dish and that is a Cold Dish". Hentam aje la.

It's indeed a surprise when Mamarazzi tasted it. Wow!!! Yummy! It's like "kerabu" type. A bit sourish. In fact, it was so tasty that we ordered one more...just in case "someone" boo hoo in FB say "kempunan" .

"Wu Tow Kau Yuk" ...errrr...what's the English translation ah? Yam with something something Pork?

The size of the Lala very big and like the way its cooked. There is a hint of alcohol in it. Hmm...wonder why so many empty shell. Kesian Mommy Yen. Took 4 pieces of lala, 3 were empty while Uncle Tony took 5 pieces, 3 were empty. I wonder is it Mamarazzi naughty go and korek out the Lala and leave the empty shell on the plate.

Steam Talapia fish. This round we were not so lucky as there was slight mud taste on the fish. However, the meat was really fresh and firm.

Jeng~Jeng~Jeng~...Chocolate Ice Cream Cake by Auntie Cynthia. Too bad the Ice Cream did not survive the journey. Melted a bit. Nevertheless, the cake can still be eaten. Auntie Little Bird makan till syok syok. When she finished baru asked this cake got Durian ah? She does not take durian. Yup...there is a bit of durian in this cake.

Thank you very much to Auntie Little Bird, Auntie Chee Yee and Auntie Cynthia for belanja us makan dinner.

...and I "bek bek" Here...

We went to MidValley and saw this at Vita Care Pharmacy.

Wah they are selling fresh goat milk. Mamarazzi remembered have Mommy Ling blog about fresh goat milk not long ago.

Mamarazzi was wondering whether I would drink Goat Milk or not. Papa said if buy I would sure drink punya.

Papa bought two bottles for me. Macam Ang Moh pulak. The bottles are made of glass.

Mamarazzi spotted these and bought two packs for me. I love these but I didn't know how to drink directly from the pack. Unlike Ribena, these have no straw inside geh. Naughty Mamarazzi laughed at me.

Haiz..after buying the Milk, I kena Papa tipu pulak. Papa asked me to help him open a drawer. I pulled and pulled and tugged and tugged..it's stuck! Naughty Papa laughed at me

Birthday Celebration Brightens Up By Tony Roma, Sunway Pyramid

Mamarazzi joined Tony Roma E-Club in Facebook. A week before her Birthday, Tony Roma sent Mamarazzi a voucher for a Free Entree.

Apa lagi, on the day of her Birthday we went to have dinner at Tony Roma, Sunway Pyramid la. More over, kids eat for free on Monday to Wednesday.

Mamarazzi had a Shirley Temple. I ate the cherry on top.

Papa shared with me his refillable soft drink.

 My appertiser.

 Roti roti..

Spaghetti from the Kids Meal

This round Mamarazzi remembered to request for bib.

Fried Mushroom. Mamarazzi "kempunan" for this a few weeks already. Finally got to eat this again. Mamarazzi weird la...people eat this with this yellow color sauce, but she likes to eat it with the white color sour cream pulak

 Ta! Da! The Free Entree.

Gosh!!! really not like advertised. The portion here is so huge. Aiyo...Mamarazzi shouldn't have order the Main Course as this portion is filling enough.

The Main Course, Ribs and Beef Combo. This one kena bayar lah. The beef was tasty but Mamarazzi didn't care much for the ribs. There was a slight smell for the ribs. Papa walloped all and said it's okay.

Alamak! Forgot to tapau the bone for Auntie Claire's Labbie.

Mamarazzi ate till cannot move. But my tum tum still have room for Ice Cream leh. I asked Uncle to bring me Ice Cream and he was very efficient leh. Yum yum...

I finished makan already and the staffs there bought a Birthday surprise for Mamarazzi. A dessert. They sang "Happy Birthday" to Mamarazzi.

I was shy wor..I kept quiet and didn't join in the singing.

There is one more voucher Mamarazzi have not use. Will update everyone once it's used.

The dessert, brownie with ice cream. Very yummy brownie. The Brownie was warm inside and outside the ice cream was cold. Prefect combination.

I sat on Mamarazzi lap and share the dessert with Mamarazzi. As I was feeding her, I suddenly have mood to sing Happy Birthday to Mamarazzi. Ngum ngum Papa was fiddling with the camera and caught the part where I sang Happy Birthday just in time.

Papa and Mamarazzi asked me repeat again for a better video but haiyo..mana ada encore encore one.

Here is the video of me "singing". Just bear with me on the background sound lah. It was unexpected that I suddenly "burst" out "singing". Next time I have to organise a band as back up to my singing. Apa macam Auntie Florence and Uncle Patrick. Can be my back up ka?
