Children Day Celebration 2016

Last month end ,  we had Children Day celebration . This year, there were no performance as our school hall is under renovation. So we celebrated in our class.

Two weeks before the celebration, our teacher asked us to confirm what food we are bringing to the party (if any).

Wah lau eh...surprise surprise...so many say bring junk food. Cikgu pengsan sekejap *LOL*

Nah...actually many mommies made delicious food for us la. There were hotdogs...opppsss...must say sausages from now on...spaghetti, bihun, fried rice, Frozen themed cupcakes, mini muffins, fried chicken, nuggets, fruits and many more....but opppsss.... nobody sponsor drinks ka? 

But no problem la...Cikgu whatsapps the night before asking if any parents would like to sponsor drinks and immediately got volunteers. 

Fun fun fun! on top of food and drinks...Mamarazzi also let me bring balloons to school. At first she was worried that we can't blow the balloons . One mommy jokingly said can ask Cikgu L to blow..*LOL*. Yes, Cikgu L came into our class and we had balloon blowing competition.  

 End of the day, there were a lot of junk food to be distributed. Yup...Cikgu didn't let us eat the junk food. Instead , it was kept at one corner. End of the day, we distributed the junk food to bring home. It will be up to the parents whether to let us have junk food or not.

I may not be good in study but distributing food and organising these am number 1...according to Cikgu la. *LOL*

Mamarazzi had to laugh when she saw this. Takes 3 to get a mop to mop the class. 

Papa was not around. So I told Mamarazzi not to cook dinner. Sure there will be leftover food from the class party. Our teacher very clever too. Told us to bring 2 empty containers.  One to use as "plate" to eat in class and the other is to "tapau" excess food home. 

I "tapau" fried rice, fried chicken, nugget and sausages home. Also jelly and muffin for Papa to eat when he come back.  

80th Birthday Bash and 50th Wedding Anniversary at Shiridi City Restaurant, Shah Alam

Two weeks school holidays is over. I had an exciting school holiday. Mainly coz my kaw kaw(Aunt) fly back from NZ for Ah Kong's 80th birthday  cum Ah Kong & Ah Mah's 50th wedding anniversary  surprise celebration.

This might be a bit unusual but it was held in an Indian restaurant. It's my favourite indian restaurant too. I think he is the only chef who really listened to my request for "Maggi goreng with no vegetable and NO cili".

My grand parents had celebrated their birthday and anniversaries in some pretty posh restaurants and places before. Anything we can think of, they are able to claim "been there, done that...so what's new? ". Ah Kong have very high expectation of food from restaurants. Anything not  nice, he will say " Beh hiau koh!"  *LOL*

Guess this round Ah Kong and Ah Mah were really surprised lor. Papa and Kaw Kaw managed to hatch up a plan to surprise them ...celebrate at Indian restaurant. 

Yup.. Ah Kong and Ah Mah have been to this place a few times and they like the food here pretty much. Most important thing of the celebration is to give them what they like. Betul tak?

On that day, Papa, Kaw Kaw and Mamarazzi brought them to the restaurant at a pretext of a late breakfast after they dropped me at school for my school activities.

Ah Kong was surprised to "bumped" into a small group of relative eating there. Not suspecting anything, he saw the buffet table and asked the boss what's the occassion and who is having a party there. *LOL*

Wah...loaded with food that Ah Kong and Ah Mah loves.

Hmmm....surprisingly many likes the mutton here pulak. Papa was apprehensive at first on ordering too much mutton as many may not like to eat mutton. But this dish finished very fast while quite a lot of fried chicken was left.

Uiks.....where's the fried chicken photo ah? Ah...must be Mamarazzi missed snapping picture of those dishes coz she zoomed to school to pick me up to attend the luncheon.

 Just in time. Managed to change from my school uniform to casual wear in the car.  One Birthday Cake and one wedding anniversary cake !

 Eh eh eh....wait...Haven't make up yet.... Both pretty excited. 

 Can see my cool Ah Mah smile till "see teeth no see eye"(Direct translation from Cantonese  meaning : very happy)

 Sure la..... All the kids managed to attend the celebration. Even my eldest Kaw Kaw who initially can't attend due to work commitment managed to find time to attend. Morning zooooooooooommmmm all the way from K.T. to KL for this.

The road to reach 80 years old is long and for those who managed to stay married for 50 years is quite rare nowadays. This is certainly a photo to be cherished.

Embarrassing Moment at My Birthday Dinner

Looks like my hint hint wink wink worked wor.

Yesterday  after school, Papa and Mamarazzi  came and fetch me.

Mamarazzi  asked where would i like to go for dinner. Straightaway  i said Tony Romas. She said sure ka? Don't  want Bubba Gump? Sushi King? Big Brothers? McDonald's?

Hmmmm....so many choices...which one to choose...okay...go Chilis  la *Mamarazzi  pengsan sekejap*. I said i like the Mac & Cheese there.

Got my wish...hehehe

Mamarazzi try out their new Avocado something something steak. The sauce was nice according to her but i preferred  the steak by itself...nicer leh. Yup... i "helped" her eat a bit of the steak. Must ask the restaurant to put on a bigger plate. Kinda hard to cut the steak in this rectangular plate.

Papa had Beef Fajita; which i also "helped" to eat a bit.

Okay...finished makan....can pay liao?

Must be I cheeky in the photo and put tanduk(horn) behind Mamarazzi's head. ...she "play" me pulak after this. Yup...she wrapped up like a nangka(jackfruit) coz she was a bit under the weather...Hmmm...under the weather also can play people punya ka?







Suddenly the staffs came to our table and sang Happy Birthday song..Aiyoyo...shy shy leh....dunno where to look.......so embarrassing leh....look left look right....fast fast blow out the candle before anyone sees me.

Wanna fast fast finish the Ice cream and brownie but but but....big cup leh.....Lucky Papa helped me to finish it. So yummy.

Came home.....did my school homework and went to dream land.... giggling  in the dreamland some more....

Papa's Birthday at Suki-ya , Paradigm Mall

Yesterday was Papa's birthday. Early in the morning  I gave him red eggs that Mamarazzi  had prepared.  And after my tuition, i asked Papa what he wanna eat. My treat.

Tony Romas? Papa said no. Chillis? No again. McDonald's? Super no...

Hmmm....then Mamarazzi  suggested the what what shop...neh the Japanese  one...with steamboat buffet one...

Papa said Suki-ya ah? Wokay ..let's go.

First pick.....Papa likes sushi hor ? * bodek mode*.

Noodles for me. Love noodles  leh. Suki-ya very healthy.  A lot of vegetables  option and have the mushrooms that Papa likes.

Again bodek mode....took one super tall bowl of green tea mixed with chocolate for Papa.

Papa ate till so full he said cannot go in anymore  lo. Time to make a move.

Before going home, i kept asking Mamarazzi  what about Cake? Papa went to the Gents and i spotted Mille Crepe nearby.

 Let's buy a cake from there for Papa la. Mamarazzi  said no need whole cake. Just one piece will do. I tasted their Vanilla  crepe nice. Bought a piece of that. Then treated Papa with a cup of coffee.

Yesterday  was Papa's birthday.  Today is my birthday  but I already  got my birthday pressie from Papa liao. He got me tickets to Kidzania which i utilised last Sunday.

Managed to get my pazzport upgraded to Honorable Citizen Pazzport.  With this pazzport I get many perks. Can sit next to the driver in the Fire Engine.  And what's more exciting  is that I am allowed to drive the Plus Ronda Car. SEE! Got flashing lights!. It was sure a  fun day. Any early birthday pressie.

Raya At "Taman"

 This year syok oh...We went to a Hari Raya "open house" at the Playground. Maybe should say " open garden"?

Residents at our "Taman"decide to have a potluck to celebrate Hari Raya two weeks ago.

 Everyone bring something to the potluck. Wah...syok max . It's better than buffet in the hotels leh. Got Laksa Utara, Spaghetti, Pizza, putu mayam, roti jala, lemang, rendang, fried bihun , Satay kajang, Ketupat, Meatballs, nasi ulam, cakes, kuih muih , fruits , hot drink and cold drinks. Got many more leh .

 Learn something new. Before makan, the President of the Resident Association give a speech then start off the party with a pray giving thanks.

Have you had Spaghetti with hand? *LOL* The one who cooked spaghetti forgotten to bring fork. Mamarazzi remembered we have some disposable fork at home. Ran home to get them but when arrived back at the playground, some already having the spaghetti using hand. Heard the spaghetti was very tasty. I spill mine so Mamarazzo says no more spaghetti for me.

Instead asked me to have bihun and satay. 
 

Guess what! I've "created" my own drink. Went and got myself some ice. Found a bottle of Sprite. Add a piece of Orange into the drink.

Jeng! Jeng! Orange Sprite drink! You want? Come come... I sell you RM7 a cup. No GST. Hey! Don't complain leh. You go drink in restaurant it's that price leh.

Mamarazzi also ordered a cup from me leh.

 

I love these yellow cookies with a red dot on top. As I tengah syok syok eating, suddenly heard thunder leh. Not long after that, it rain. 

Lucky for us coz by then the food were nearly all gone. Just need to clear up the place and run home. Some kids even managed to fire up some fireworks leh. 

I managed to tapau back some of the delicious cookies before cabut home. Yummy!
