Is It The End of Big Bad Wolf Sale?

If you are a fan of the Big Bad Wolf Sale, you'll know what Mamarazzi is talking about soon enough.

Big Bad Wolf Missing?
  |
(photos taken from BBWS FB page)

For the past few days, Mamarazzi noted movement in the Big Bad Wolf Facebook Page.

It was reported in its Facebook page that Mr Wolf was missing. Then that his space ship crashed and Mr Wolf is presumed dead. There are rumours that said it's the end of the Big Bad Wolf Sale. What do you think?

As for Mamarazzi, she does not believe that this will be the end of BBWS as she saw reported in The Star Newspaper on 28 July 2012 , the two owners of BookXcess said this year's BBWS will be even bigger and more exciting.

Looks like Mamarazzi would be glue to the PC from now on to check out BBWS Facebook, just in case she gets the chance to win Preview Pass to the event this year.

You might wanna do the same to as getting the Preview Pass is truly worth it. Gosh! for the pass 3 years or was it 4 years, fiction titles goes for RM8 only.  There are tonnes and tonnes of great bargain books there too. Hopefully the prices would stays the same this year.

Mamarazzi guess that BBWS will be happening soon. So better start saving your $$$.

Disclaimer : This is not a paid post done on behalf of BBWS nor BookXcess . Mamarazzi is just sharing her 2cents with readers who are also waiting for the next BBWS..

Ipoh Road Yong Tau Foo at Subang 2

Vrooom! Vroom! new car car from Solivite. Mamarazzi was lazy again. Not cooking dinner as she was still a bit full. Hence we went to the nearby Taman to search for something light to eat.

My little yellow car. We pusing punya pusing still no idea what to have. Then saw this new branch of Ipoh Road Yong Tau Foo. Decided to have some.

Our drinks.

The coconut is for me as I have been having a lot of heaty food like durian lately.

Fried Dumpling and Fu Chuk Rolls for Papa.

Ordered some Yong Tau Foo

And Chee Cheong Fun for Papa and me.

Not really enjoying my CCF coz I have no appetite too.

Mamarazzi's bow of Dumpling with soup. Adequate though for her it's not as good as those that she made at home.

Was rather surprise when the bill came as we noted each piece of Yong Tau Foo now cost RM1.10. Price of food really increased everywhere. Guess we won't be having YTF that often now.

Heaven is for Real Deluxe Edition By Todd Burpo with Lynn Vincent

Synopsis by Booksneeze.com

Deluxe, keepsake edition of the best-selling book and true story of a young boy's visit to heaven after life-saving surgery.
Heaven Is for Real is the true story of the four-year old son of a small town Nebraska pastor who during emergency surgery slips from consciousness and enters heaven. He survives and begins talking about being able to look down and see the doctor operating and his dad praying in the waiting room. The family didn't know what to believe but soon the evidence was clear.
Colton said he met his miscarried sister whom no one had told him about, and his great grandfather who died 30 years before Colton was born, then shared impossible-to-know details about each. He describes the horse that only Jesus could ride, about how "reaaally big" God and his chair are, and how the Holy Spirit "shoots down power" from heaven to help us.
Told by the father but often in Colton's own words, the disarmingly simple message is heaven is a real place, Jesus really loves children, and be ready there is a coming last battle.
My comments:
This is an easy to read book from young adults to older readers.
What I like about this book is that it gives hope. Hope that things will be better and in those who believes , that there is really a heaven. Many instances in the book, strengthen what have been described in the Bible.
What is written here is pretty much believable as there is no way a four year old kid can know so many stuffs unless he had experienced it himself. Some who disbelieved may say that he had been "tutor" but it will be up to individual opinion.
There were some family photos in the book . Its good to see the adorable face of Colton.
What I don't like about this book is that it's more from the point of view of the father instead of Colton. There are 154 pages in this story without adding in notes and word of the author, and the first 45 pages is all about the family and the misfortune that befell them.
In my opinion, not much about heaven is reveal in this book.Only little here and there.
It's hard for me to comment here. How do you comment about a book like this? Well, it;s either you believe it or you don't. You will have to read it for yourself.

I give it for stars out of 5 star for the writing style.

Restaurant BB Town Seafood, Taman Pagar Ruyong, Off Jalan Kuchai Lama

Last month we went got a big makan again. This round we ate at Restaurant BB Town Seafood at Taman Payar Ruyong.

Initially wanted to go to Nong and Jimmy but the restaurant is closed on Monday.

Brought along my two changing colors cars to show Uncle Patrick. It's like magic. The cars would change color if it's cold or if it's warm.

We had this Salted Vegetable and Taufu Soup. Everyone loves it very much

Had Pai Kuat Wong but Mamarazzi don't understand why only meat geh? Where are the bones?

The "Four Heavenly Kings". Sadly, petai was absent. Maybe he went on leave that day. Replaced by long beans.

Nevertheless, Mamarazzi still liked this dish very much.

Steamed Prawns...my FAVOURITE EGG... Yup...I love the steamed eggs.

Salted Eggs baked crabs. Good enough. Very meaty. But a bit too oily for Mamarazzi. Guess they added a bit flour to get the egg yolk to stick to the crabs.

Not sure what is the breakdown amount for each dish but total amount come up to RM160 for 5 adults and one kid. Must be the crabs that is pricey.

Thank you to Uncle Patrick who gave all of us the treat.

Here is the address of the shop should you wish to try out the food there 3, Jalan 2/115A,Taman Pagar Ruyong,58200 Off Jalan Kuchai Lama,Kuala Lumpur Malaysia (opposite SMK Sri Sentosa)

Do You Buy Online?

Mamarazzi's camera batteries were going kaput and she spotted a good deal in one of the online discount site.

Hence she bought a set of Sony Batteries with charger. The terms was that the product would be ship out after a certain date and it should reach the recipient within 10 days.

Mamarazzi waited and waited. On the 12th day, she e-mailed the company. It shocked her when received reply from the company that the product had been shipped out and was delivered.

Pickup DateCn.NumberRef.NumberOriginDestinationStatusRecipient Name
08/06/2012525XXXXX -HEAD QUARTERS SHAH ALAM HEAD QUARTERS SHAH ALAMDelivered 11 Jun 2012 11:50KALDIP XXXXXX-XX-5216

WHAT!?? Kaldip?? Who the heck is Kaldip? We don't have anyone by the name of Kaldip in our home. And on the date of delivery, Mamarazzi was home. Why nobody press the door bell?

Of course ler, Mamarazzi immediately fire out an e-mail to the said company letting them know that she had not received the product and doesn't know any neighbour nor any "Sek Q" by that name.

Any, Mamarazzi is glad to report that after investigation and some ding-dong, the company had sent a replacement unit to Mamarazzi.

But this bring up the question, who the heck is this Kaldip? Parcel obviously not for her, why she so kiasu go and accept.

And how can a reputable courier company simply release the parcel to a third party just like that without any authorisation from the parcel owner? And it is obvious that the parcel is not meant for KALDIP as from the name the person is of Punjabi or Indian heritage while the name on the parcel is clearing a Chinese name.

I wonder in such cases, would the courier company compensate the sender?
