Snow Beer at Kafe Sun Yoon Wah, Ipoh

Earlier on Uncle Billy and Auntie Elin mentioned that Kafe Sun Yoon Woh is a good place to eat and that they have something called "Snow Beer".

That night, Mamarazzi decided that we should go and try out.

It was drizzling when we arrived. The place was rather hard to find.

An old lady came over to our table to sell some tidbits. Papa bought me a packet of "Pillow Biscuits".

Yumm....super hungry...forced to pose "GOOD" by Mamarazzi.

Papa and Mamarazzi had "Snow Beer". According to explanations glean from various blog, the beer is chilled till near frozen and the mug are also chilled. Then when the beer was poured into the mug, the foam will be frozen. Making the beer super cold.

Mamarazzi drank some. Hmmm...not really crazy about beer. First taste was good but a few gulps later she started to wiwangwang. Serves her right for drinking on an empty stomach.

Saw someone recommend Stuffed Chicken Wings. Mamarazzi was looking around for it but couldn't find. The spotted this tiny stall at the far corner of the Car Park.

This is how far the stall from the shop. The Lady Boss was super friendly.

She brought over the Stuffed Fried Chicken Wings(RM3-60/wing). The Chicken Wings were de-boned and stuffed with chicken Meat and Fish Paste.

Mamarazzi couldn't taste the Chicken Wings properly coz she was wiwangwang at that time. But as we couldn;t finish it, we tapau-ed home.

Two days later, Mamarazzi reheated them and ate. Taste okay la. It would be nicer if it's stuffed with minced Chicken meat, chopped carrots and mushroom or the "smelly vege"(Yim Sai). For Mamarazzi, the fish paste doesn't really go with Chicken.

But this is just Mamarazzi personal opinion la. She is not a professional judge. Bet Auntie Little Bird have would love the Stuffed Chicken Wings.

Huh....where is my noodle?

Papa wanted Thai Wong Miu" like the ones we had at Kuala Sepetang but too bad they didn't have it. So we had sweet potatoes leaves instead.

Uncle Arthur will drool on this. Mamarazzi LOVES this a lot. It's fried pork intestine with loads of pork lards and dried shrimp. Super unhealthy dish but super delicious too. Aiyoyo....don;t think can find this anywhere else. The lard was uh~la~la~...the dried shrimp was crunchy and there was no nasty smell on the intestine.

Another "recommended" dish. Steamed Frog with Chicken Essence. That's the hand of the man who was pouring the Chicken Essence into the dish.

Papa super loves this dish. He practically polished off the whole thing by himself. The "soup" was very delicious. Papa kept urging Mamarazzi and me drink that. But both of us we busy with our favourite dish.

Mamarazzi was polishing off the Pork intestine while I was busy with this. Yup NOODLES.

Again the photo does not do justice to the dish. Blame it on Mamarazzi. Forgotten what fancy name that this noodle have. If not mistaken its Something Something Sang Mee with Roast Pork.

Mamarazzi was surprised as on top of the expected Roast Pork, they also added pork rib.

A "hungry ghost" polishing off the noodles. For me it's Super delicious la. I don't know about you. I see Papa and Mamarazzi loving it too.

Here I kena Papa scold for having such bad manners. Gobbling everything up like that.

Okie...here is my "polite" look. Can ah? Accept or not?

Argh....super full already.

Third plate. Can't fit it in anymore. I am so sleepy...

Here is the bill for the food, not inclusive of drinks. RM66 is reasonable price la. Mamarazzi is guessing the RM31 is for the steamed frogs and RM7 is for the vegetable. Don't know which one is for the noodle and the intestine.

Here is the address Kafe Sun Yoon Wah, No 7 Jalan Bijih Timah, 30000 Ipoh Perak.
