Hotel and Restaurant Hong Xing Dim Sum

As it was very late, we "hentam" De Hotel coz the rates is affordable. RM160 only for a Suite. Everything there looks very modern. What is it people say...is it "Contemporary"?

There is free WiFi and the signal very good. Good security as access to the hotel lift is by room card.  Free parking and there is CCTV monitoring the car park. Staffs were friendly and helpful.

The only down side are the Suite is facing the roundabout and it was rather noisy. The night of our stay there, Court Mammoth staffs must have been working overtime rushing for the coming Hari Raya business bloom coz we can hear faint hammering sound coming from Court Mammoth.

However, the next day we changed hotel coz Mamarazzi was uncomfortable when she found these religious items hanging at the corner of the television. Must have been left by the previous occupants and missed by the Cleaning Crews.

After we Check-Out, we went and had breakfast with Auntie Claire, Auntie Elin and Uncle WB(LOL).

We went to this new dim sum restaurant next to Giant Hypermarket. It's called Restaurant Hong Xing Dim Sum.

Mamarazzi love the way they push the cart to distribute the Dim Sum.

For me, I was moody. I wanted to go Giant to play in the Playland there. Mamarazzi said let me be. If I moody and don't wanna eat then there is more share for her. Bad of her.

They had "Lau Sar Pau". It's pau with Custard and salted egg yolk filings. Mamarazzi said tasted good.

Not sure what is this but surprisingly it was nice. Something like Yong Tau Fu but crunchy.

Another unknown dim sum. There is Pandan paste in it. Very aromatic.

 Fish ball. So BIG

Errrr...duno what is this but nice.

This one is rather special coz under the meat there is a piece of Japanese Tauhu.

Mamarazzi super love this one. Think it got Salted egg yolk in it

 Seaweeds rolls?

"Char Siew HK Chee Cheong Fun". Love the skin. Not thick. But too bad about the sambal. Mamarazzi preferred the flaky Sambal.

"Prawns HK CCF" with surprisingly quite a lot of prawns.

Papa can't resist ordering these Yam thingy. His favourite.

Can you guess how much is the total bill for the above?

Papa said comeAuntie Claire place not good to let Auntie Claire pay. Auntie Claire very "Fast hands" one.

But I tell you hor...Auntie Claire and Auntie Elin have a very good partnership going on. One went and pay the bill while the other pulled Mamarazzi back to the table. How to pay la like that?

Anyway, I managed to have my way also la. Mamarazzi end up buying me a cup of Laici Sorbet from Giant.

After eating that, am satisfied and proceed to snooze while waiting to arrive at the next destination.

  8. Small Kucing, Be sure and tell your Mama to write a book talking about all of the neat hotels/motels you get to stay and the restaurants where you get to eat... That would make a great book for others to compare places --and decide if they want to visit there themselves...

    Hugs,
    Betsy
