I Saw in Taiping.....

After our lunch, we headed out to the famous Lake Garden of Taiping

Saw this super strong man

See.....
Interesting Indian Temple. Noticed how beautiful are the statues.

If not mistaken, along the same road there is this Chinese Temple

And a mosque. This mosqye is called "Masjid Lama". Mamarazzi finds it fascinating as it does not have the dome like thing on top.

Instead its surrounded by this.

This tree reminds Mamarazzi of Enid Blyton's "The Faraway Tree" book

Hmmm.... why the tree branches all leaning towards the lake ya?

Very big plant on top of the tree.

What happen?

Where did all the water gone to?

I can even go down and walk about the lake.

Did not dally long as we had to go "water the plants". But before that...a group photo....opps...Mamarazzi have bunny ears pulak. Photo stolen from Auntie Claire's Blog

Also noted...no need to go Kajang to have Kajang Satay

Very unique Information Centre.

Next stop...seafood.

  5. The lake is drying up, the world is dying... Very sad!!! Those big trees, lots in Sibu but they're old and may be uprooted in terrible weather - these days very common... So hot and suddenly severe storm!

  17. I like the tree too.

Hope that the trees will be taken care of and not chopped down.

Some nice trees around my neighbourhood (old and very shady) all kena potong tinggal stump only! Makes the area very HOT!
