I went and woke up Papa and Mamarazzi. Told them I wanna go gai-gai.
Papa asked go where? Belum sempat I say Dan Neh Noh, Mamarazzi said wanna bring me to belek belek some lalang at some 18 or 38 place.
Where the heck is this?
Ohh...so this is the belek belek place ah? Hmmm..I remember Uncle Pete had blog about this place. Hope Papa can find the Dragon Fruit Farm that Uncle Pete blogged about.
The Wantan Mee looks tempting lor. I have tasted. Not bad. Not too salty.
Three plates of Wantan Noodles, 2 Kopi and two Iced Chinese tea. Bill comes up to RM13 only.
Wah lau eh...very cheap. Sorry ah. Forgot the shop name but I heard Mamarazzi said it's located opposite AmBank of Sg Pelek.

Wah lau eh...very cheap. Sorry ah. Forgot the shop name but I heard Mamarazzi said it's located opposite AmBank of Sg Pelek.
Right at the front of the Farm, there was a small stall selling fruit. I wonder what fruit is that..the yellowish ones. Mamarazzi said it's a type of Durian Belanda while Papa said it's Nonang. Hmmmm....anyone?
They were selling Passion Fruits at RM5/kg. That is cheap. However, the Pomelo are expensive. Not sure how much is the Honey.
Alamak! No luck. They don't have Dragon fruits. Left only these. People "borong-ed" all.
Yikes! Kura-kura also have ah? So many. I wonder for it's for what. Making soup would be nice.
Let me lead the "expedition". Lucky I am not using stroller anymore else won't get to explore.
According to the lady boss, the top left is Passion Fruit.
Top right is Malaysian apple". Mamarazzi recalled buying these from Pasar Malam before. Crunchy like green apples but pretty much tasteless.
Bottom left is Guava while bottom right is Aloe Vera. Aloe Vera is good for skin.
Wah got some more? What is that. Why that tree so many caterpillars geh? Colourful pulak tu...green la..pink la...bright red la and black.
.
Not caterpillars ah? Oo...Mulberry ah. Oooo...I remember. Ah Kong's house have this! Have to wait till it turn black baru can eat punya.
Toddy ka? Not toddy ah? Fruit Enzyme? Got Guava, Papaya, Aloe Vera and Pitaya (Dragon Fruit) Enzyme.
Mamarazzi, buy one for me la. Auntie Siew is buying too. I want the Pitaya punya. The Lady Boss say Pitaya punya is to flush out the toxin from the body wor.
I ate so many things. Sure a lot of toxin.
Apa macam? Still "belek-Belek"? Where else next?
wow, such nice place to explore.
ReplyDeletewah, this time lagi jauh ah u go search for food...but damn cheap wor, for that breakfast u have...
ReplyDeleteThat yellow fruit... i love it very much! I wanna know its name too. My mum has one tree at home... it's very easy to grow and very "fruitful". And the fruit enzyme.. my mum makes a lot too. Expensive or not? Can ask my mum to sell too hehe :)
ReplyDeleteLast time, when Auntie still small, in front of auntie's house have pokok nona. In the northern parts of Malaysia, that fruit is called 'Buah nona'. Some sort of durian belanda... ohhh... these days very rare leh... but very sedap to eat... a lot of biji though... nice to eat just like that, or make juice. =D It taste a bit sweet and sourish.
