Wokay loor...go find lo. Address say No. 211, Batu 1 1/2, Jalan Meru.... Use GPS Can't find. Pusing punya pusing. Okay la...end up eating other thing .
Went to Klang again another day...not satisfied..okay die die must find out where the heck is this restaurant...Probably coz it's day light...So happy finally spotted this restaurant.
Adui...right along the main road behind a Bus Stand...opposite the road of Bazar Rakyat Majlis Perbandaran Klang.
Fuiyoh...so many people makan here leh. Full house
Gotta sit at the corridor next door.
Love the menu....don;t know what to order. Load of picture. So just need to point.
Heard one of the famous dish here is rice noodle with oyster. Ordered one. First look...pale...hmm...doesn't look special ..BUT...once taste...slurrrrrppppp.....Don't know whether we were hungry or what but the noodles when missing into thin air in no time.
I told Papa am still hungry leh.
saw in then Menu..Gong Nam Mee. Papa ordered this for me la
Ngum ngum match my Gangnam T-shirt hor?
Ordered Spring Rolls with pork meat. Mmm....was very good. Very crunchy. Only down side was the cili dipping.
Papa had wanted Marmite oink oink but maybe the hokkien in Klang is different or what la...then the lady on the next table also "helped" to order that in Hokkien....
Suddenly this dish came to our table...Huh? err...did we ordered this? did we not...coz was not sure was it the lady(gone off) at the next table translated wrongly or wrong ordered.
After puzzling for some time...asked the waitress what is it....she was confused too .."got order this? No order this? what you ordered? " . Poor lady.. Then Papa said ok never mind...we'll take this. So Papa took a piece and eat lo.
A moment later the lady come back with this Marmite Oink oink pulak. Yikes...
The Lady was nice said they take back the "error" dish though Papa had took a piece. So nice of her.
While waiting for the dishes and eating, Mamarazzi spotted this . Think only the older generation will know about "Bus MINI". Looks like bus mini had certainly "grown" bigger lor over the years.
Well, here is the address of the restaurant : -
Kuang Fong Restaurant
No. 211, Batu 1 1/2,
Jalan Meru,
41050 Klang,
Selangor
wah!!! must be very nice lah, see the crowd in the restaurant!! fuyoh, so how long did Small Kucing had to wait?? sitting at the corridor of the next door shop?? errr, not kena halau-ed meh??
ReplyDeleteNice......
Deleteno kena halau la coz next door not open leh
good lah, got nice menu and the price is listed there, black and white mah.. and all in Chinese?? that's why Mamarazzi can only point what she wanted to order based on the photos?? haha.. just order those in bigger photos lor, those are sure the more popular ones mah.. or else can get the lady boss to recommend also hor??
ReplyDeletenah got english name but not sure what is in there coz got fancy name like Gangnam noodles.
Deletehey, looks good leh those dishes!! the oyster meehoon looks okay to me woh, i don't find it pale lah, or Mamarazzi was expecting something dark?? so this one sure Small Kucing's favorite huh?? ate until habis and yet not satisfied, asked for another plate of Gangnam Noodles later.. hahahaha!! must be super good mood, no sleeping in the restaurant and also want to eat more :)
ReplyDeleteit's like sharkfin type of gravy. nice.
Deletethe meat!! oh i love all the three meat dishes woh.. the lobak just nice lah even without the chili dipping, haha!! and then the "wrong dish" looked like some mayonnaise-added-in-with-some-chili pork ribs?? had this before somewhere they call it "portuguese ribs" woh.. so how was it?? since Paparazzi curi eaten one piece already.. okaylah, i think the waiter also blur blur, must get the lady boss the clarify, and service seems to be good also despite the crowd hor?? total bill berapa??
ReplyDeletewrong dish but still nice la....total bill ah...forgot leh but less than RM100 leh
Deletehaha, mini bus?? that surely is one huge one lah, haha.. while i thought this thing is already not existing in Klang Valley, surprisingly i saw one at Sunway Pyramid the other day.. of course it's the real mini bus lah, not the huge version like this.. those were the days when we used to take mini bus, and have to hold on tight to the bar because the driver was always rushing for more trips to earn more commission :p
ReplyDeleteminibus grown bigger LOL
DeleteHaha yea, i tend to keep going back to look for the places i can't find either :P
ReplyDeleteyea lor...like tak puas hati
DeleteOh dear, I wonder which table will get the dish with a "missing piece" that has landed in Paparazzi's tummy.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it gone to the staff's tummy
DeleteKlang? Haze teruk lah!!! Marmite oink oink looks good - must try to cook that one of these days. I think I would enjoy the gong nam mee.
ReplyDeleteeverywhere also teruk la....
DeleteHaha, die die must find the place heh? You are like me (but not in terms of finding eating place la, coz we seldom go kaikai and eat eat), if that is the thing I like or want, then I will "kin chi" and try to "chang chui" and get it nomatter what.. kekekeke..
ReplyDeleteOoohh, I love noodles.. Eh, sekali pandang I don't feel your first dish is pale leh.. I like this kinda egg-soupy noodles.. If not "yap mei" enuff just add soy sauce or vinegar? Yumm, that nam mee is J's style la.. I always see him eat this kinda eggy-starchy noodles.. My favourite also.. Everytime if I eat noodles, I will order wat-tan-hor or Cantonese yee-mein..
Paparazzi so kind la, to avoid kelam-kabut-ness and trouble, he just accepted the wrong dish.. Eh, but the wrong dish looks good also leh.. If me ahh, I don't mind accepting it.. Looks like fried sotong in creamy butter Thai sauce (coz I saw onions).. I can wallop the whole thing leh, really..
coz tak puas hati tak jumpa the place.
Deletetaste good lor the dish

DeleteOh, spring roll with pork meat, I would love that too.
ReplyDeleteYa, the Hokkien spoken in Klang is different from that of the north. The southern Hokkien is from the Xaimen area of China whereas the Hokkien of the north was brought over from another region of China. But you knew that already.
Of course, CONGRATULATIONS for winning a prize at SK's. Good job!
