Sorry ah....can't give you the exact location but it 's near a Surau
and at the junction between Jalan PaipU14 and Jalan Hamzah. Every time we pass by that place, we can see many car and motorbikes stopped there and buy food.
One day, Papa also stopped la.
Went and saw that they have Nasi Lemak and fried bihun.
Bought ach a packet of Nasi Lemak
Papa's Nasi Lemak with Paru Goreng.
Mine...normal Nasi Lemak.
Mamarazzi's Nasi Lemak with Sotong(Squid).
Mmm.....so aromatic and taste wow!. I want some more leh. Mamarazzi also like the Nasi Lemak from this restaurant coz it was not lumpy and the sotong was not hard. Soft with the right amount of "bounciness". Too bad we don't pass by this place often. .
My favourite nasi lemak guy is lost! Moved already...and I heard he would be at one area here and I went round and round and could not find him. No more nasi lemak for me till I manage to track him down.
ReplyDeletehope you can track him down soon
DeleteJalan Paip? Funny name, keke.. Before I read your description and see the photos, and by just reading your post title, I thought you forgotten the street name and only remember it's near a "big pipe" kinda thing, kekekeke.. Like a big longkang or what.. Ooohh, mana tau, it's really Jalan Paip street... What's nice there? Ooohh, roadside lady selling nasi lemak heh...
ReplyDeleteEh, mamarazzi's rice so dry geh? If me ahh, I will tambah kuah rendang oohh.. Or kuah kari with potatoes.. So not so dry lor.. Senang telan.. J one ok la, understood.. He doesn't take spicy rite, so nasi lemak kosong ok la for him..
I always like my nasi lemak to have 1 telur mata, sambal, lots of kacang+ikan bilis, kerang and rendang ayam... I can wallop another packet of mee goreng as well timmm.. It depends on the rendang.. If the kuah is nice, I can wallop very nice.. If kuah is not nice, I will eat slower, keke..
coz got big piap that run along the road mah
DeleteNah...mamaazzi doesnt like her rice banjir type. Like separate from the kuah one
muahahaha, somewhere in Shah Alam and Mamarazzi also cannot tell the exact location, errr, like that ask GPS for help also a bit challenging ah?? maybe next time Mamarazzi must ask the owner for the exact address leh..
ReplyDeleteGPG also no help...Google map still yet to update the place
Deletethe nasi lemak looks good lah, somemore with Mamarazzi's description makes Uncle SK also wanna try that.. very aromatic rice!! nowadays hardly can find nasi lemak with aromatic rice, mostly already cut cost and the nasi less lemak already lu..
ReplyDeletebetul lo.....
Deletebut how come no sambal one?? no sambal for Small Kucing understandable lah, but then no sambal even for Paparazzi and Mamarazzi?? hmmm, actually Uncle SK loves just nasi lemak biasa, with sambal or maybe add one more telur.. and Uncle SK prefers using paper for the wrapping, and if with a piece of banana leaves inside then lagi better.. somehow the paper one taste nicer than using the styrofoam box, agree?? haha~~
ReplyDeleteSee the Nasi Lemak makes me crave for it, hehe...
ReplyDeletecan try cooking this at home
DeleteI see nasi lemak in my office almost every day.. :) But I like the ones cooked by my mom... those were the days... just eating cucumber with sambal ikan bilis also shiok already!
ReplyDeletea lot of nasi lemak being sold but think cook at home the best coz can suit own taste
DeleteGood morning.... Malaysian favourite breakfast!
ReplyDeleteYup...the malaysian thingy
DeleteI would prefer Malay's fried meesiam over nasi lemak.
ReplyDeleteJ can finish that packet of rice ? Wow......normally, I will scoop half of the rice to hubby. I'm a small eater. hehe

ReplyDeleteNever? Next time ask from Malay stall. Very often have
DeleteIt's not easy to find nice nasi lemak, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteit is easy to find nasi lemak but good ones are hard to get
DeleteI love nasi lemak very much and they are the best food to make me fatter!!!
ReplyDeleteI still like to eat the ones sold at Village Park in Uptown.
Me too . I like that one but a bit pricey
DeleteSo this restaurant sells perfect Nasi Lemak with soft sotong and not lumpy rice!!! I like!
ReplyDeleteThough it's simple food yet many sellers do not know how to cook the sotong tender.
