Sunset at Tanjung Aru, Kota Kinabalu.

After a refreshing "cat nap" in the hotel, we head out again. his round to Tg Aru for the sunset. Actually we were a bit late.

Traffic was heavy all the way there. Thought ...haiz...looks like see sunset from the car only la....

But don't know how we turn and turned ...and end up at First Beach Tanjung Aru. Saw Sugar Bun Cafe have empty tables. We just hentam and sat there la

The sun had begin to set but I was too excited. I wanted to play sand instead of "enjoying" the sunset.

Mamarazzi was trying to capture the sunset from our table but there was a loud voiced and rude China Ah Beng who imagine that he is some sort of "invisible man", standing right in front of our table. talked so loud with his group of Ah Lians. Guess they were killing time before going to the airport coz saw they have big luggage bags with them

Why does Mamarazzi say that he is rude? It's because Papa and Mamarazzi was sitting there eating and the fella not only stood there blocking our view but also took out his shoe and shook sands from his shoes right besides the table.

I found a friend to play sand with me on the beach.

Here are the drinks that Papa ordered for us. Ribena for me and Fresh Orange Juice for himself .

Unfortunately the Orange Juice did not taste right. It tasted like one of those orange juice that came in a box.  Papa asked the staff coz there were two types of Orange Juice in the Menu. He was wondering if they had given him wrongly but the staff insisted that it's fresh Orange.

Mamarazzi's cup of Kopi was okay.

Some fries but funny how the pepper and salt was lumpy like that. Is it supposed to be this way?

Roti Kahwin for me.

Overall, this beach have a lovely sunset but just too bad am more keen to play with sand instead.

One down side is that no water to clean myself after that. have to walk with sand all all through the restaurant and to the public toilet and pay RM0.50 to go to the toilet. It would be nice if the authority would make pipe nearer to the beach for people to wash off the sands from their hands and feet before tramping all all over the restaurant.

  3. Of course playing with sand on the beach is more important than the sunset for children, hehehe. :)

  9. The sunset and beach looked gorgeous.. although the food and drinks looked awful.. Haha.. I don't think salt and pepper should be lumpy like that. Must have been exposed to moisture or left out in the open for too long.

  28. People can be so rude... Wonder why???? When we visited the Grand Canyon in 2011, there were bus-loads of Japanese visitors... They were truly the rudest people I have ever been around...Wonder why?

Beautiful sunset though --but they should have provided some 'wash' areas nearby before you went into a restaurant... Oh Well... I've had Orange Juice like that ---that says it is fresh squeezed but doesn't taste like it is... Hmmmmmmm.

    Have a great weekend.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

    1. Was reading a book where one author taking about his experience of going Grand Canyon with a group of Asian. He was the only Australian there. He was saying how the whole tour everyone just rush down the bus and snap photos then not even 10mins, everyone were back into the bus rushing to the next destination. Didnt get to explore much/
