Dry & Wet Sea Products at Kota Kinabalu

The next morning, we went looking for dry and wet seafood product. Wanna buy and bring home as we were flying home that evening.

Lazy to go roaming in the market so just stop by one shop opposite the Filipino market.

Wah..come down from the car can smell the distinct "scent" of the dried products.

Dried seahorses...heard there is good as some sort of Chinese medicine. Not sure how to cook  it so didn't buy.

Instead, Mamarazzi bought some scallops, anchovies and dried shrimps. Cheap? Hmm....okay la...slightly cheaper than KL.

Meantime, I grew bored and fever coming back again.

But that didn't stop me from going opposite the road and play a bit.

Aiya...buy what dried product la...just bring home this Big Fish kau tim la...enough to feed me for whole month!

Cannot eat ah? Then can ride also can la.

After playing around, we went back to the hotel to pack and check out.

That afternoon after lunch , we went to this Fung Seng Seafood Supplier S/B at Inanam Industrial Estate to get some frozen Seafood home.

Kinda hard to find as it's hidden in an industrial area. Finally found it after a few wrong turns.

Wow...really amazing. Rows and rows of frozen seafood. If can Papa wanted to borong all home but sure luggage will overweight la.

End up buying some Prawns, Sea cucumber, scallops

and something that looks likes Crabs claws called Pa Chao Lo. Don't know what is that. The girl said can use to make soup or stir fry with vegetable.

Mamarazzi fried already...said taste a bit like "lala".

The shop also selling all sorts of tea and coffee...including this Kopi Luwak. According to what Mamarazzi know is that this Kopi Luwak is from droppings of a small, cat-like mammal called a civet.

Not cheap leh this coffee. Even though Mamarazzi loves to drink coffee but she didn't buy this. Don't think will dare to drink.

Where was I while they were shopping? I found a "bed" and slept. Was drowsy from the fever and the fever medicine.

Here is the address of the shop if you would wanna get some frozen seafood home :

Lot 7 & 8 Jalan Bakau,
Inanam Industrial Estate,
KM 8, Off Jalan Tuaran,
88300, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

No worry about packing as they will pack nicely for your if you said you are travelling home by plane.

Anyway, we found another shop selling frozen seafood products at the airport but the variety was noted to be less than here. Not sure about the price.
