Restaurant Tiong Hokkien Mee, Damnsara Uptown

Stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on 20th of last month. Was sleepy. Mamarazzi wanted to have hokkien Mee but doesn't know which one is good around Damansara Uptown. Have been to Damansara hokkien Mee but wanted to try out something new.

Spotted this restaurant and Papa like the look of its chairs. Quite a lot of people eating there too. Should be nice gua.

Fried  Chicken seems to be one of the famous dish here.
'
 Ohh...memang sedap....

Then also ordered their famous Hokkien Mee. Wow....the taste really suits us. A lot of crunchy pork lard too.

Single portion cost RM7 but it was worth the price.

After that night we went there a few more times.

The second time we went there, we had Hokkien Mee and this Wat Tan Hor.

I love their Wat tan Hor more than the Hokkien Mee.

Ah Mah and Ah Kong also came here too. We saw the worker eating Fried rice. Looks nice but was too full then. Maybe next time.

Then we came again, Papa wanna try out their Loh Mee. It was okay . The vinegar really have "umph". saw they use Narcissus brand. Must go to the store to look for this brand.

Mamarazzi tried out their fried rice but did not like it coz it was a bit salty that day.

One our most recent trip, we had this Yau Mak. Very young and fresh

Tried out their pork soup. Was okay. Would have been nicer if they could add in pork liver.

Mamarazzi ordered Mun Yee Mee. She loves it.

In the beginning I was eating my Wat Tan Hor happily.

My satisfied face...that was until I tasted Mamarazzi's Mun Yee Mee.....I wanted Mun Yee Mee pulak instead of my Wat Tan hor *greedy mode*

I wonder what else is good there....hmm......

Sorry ya....am not sure of the exact address but it's just 2-3 doors away before Yeoh's Bak Kut Teh shop which was in Number 95. ...so this shop should be around number 93 or 91....of ...

  6. Mamarazzi is sure adventurous to just walk into a random restaurant for dinner without knowing whether the food tastes good or not. Can see from the photos that Small Kucing really loves eating there - the fried chicken and the various noodles. I will give this place a go if I am around that area at night as my spouse loves to eat hokkien mee and I like to eat loh mee.

  7. HA HA ---being sleepy doesn't keep one from eating, does it?????? Looks like you had a great meal with plenty of options... I'd love the Fried Chicken --although I'd take off the skin (fattening)....

One of my favorite dishes here is Shrimp Fried Rice.. But --I wouldn't like it if it were too salty either...

    Have a great day.
    Hugs,
    Betsy

If you are in the area then go try out la. Nice...make sure order the fried chic

Weird la...maybe they have a few sifu there coz days the noodles will be salty. Must be one of the sifu likes to put a lot of salt in the food.
