After Mamarazzi came back from Gaya Street Sunday market, we went out for lunch. Went to this famous Kah Hiong Ngiu Chap Restaurant.
Weather was super hot that day.....
Papa had the dried keoy teow beef noodle
For me, Papa ordered soupy keoy teow.
Mamarazzi had the Soupy bihun beef noodles. She like the bihun. No nasty smell. did you noticed the Chili dip? Though it was orange in color but it was super spicy. Must have been made of pure birds eyes cili.
Ordered Lemon tea to quench the "fire". Love they way the put fresh lemon into the tea.
Additional bowl of mixed beef
Bought home a bottle of this super spicy cili sauce for Auntie Florence. I think she would love it for she can take very spicy food; not Mamarazzi coz the next morning she got sore throat liao coz she did not drink enough water.
Here is the address of the restaurant if your wish to try out the Beef Noodle here :

After having lunch, Mamarazzi dropped by Filipino Market to look at Pearls. Seems that they sell pearls very cheap over there. Not sure how to choose good quality pearls and how to know whether it's genuine or not. Saw that the pearls the mostly came in four colours, white, pink, grey and black.
Didn't buy much. Just a few trinkets for some friends.
The beef noodles look yummy! How does it compare to those sold in KL, Johor and Seremban?
ReplyDeleteI also dunno how to tell if the pearl is real or not.

DeleteAfter visiting the Pearl Factory in Phuket, I managed to learn how to see whether it is original natural pearls or cultured pearls. That is the only difference that makes the prices so high! Both are genuine.
