I Wanna Be A Lion Dance Performer.

Chinese New Year is over. This year, I managed to see one Lion Dance performance. at Subang Parade.

Just in time for the show.

The guy was testing the pole but I was asking mamarazzi why he squatting up there...wanna poo poo ka?

Finally the show starts.

So high...no wonder the Lion is shivering

Adoi...that must be painful. Poor guys.

I was tapping my hand to the beat of the drums but naughty papa and mamarazzi tease me.

Previous years, Mamarazzi frequently sees the Lions giving out mandarin oranges to the audience. But this round, Mamarazzi noticed more and more audience "feeding" the Lions with angpau .

After the performance, I also wanna try jumping from pole to pole la. The Lion made it looked so easy.

here I go.....Going up....

Errrrrr.....can someone help me to get down? scary up here la.....

Guess I be the drummer is much easier la....

Caught by Mamarazzi to pose for the album.

  5. You drum, and I will hit the gong!
Lion Dancing with or without poles, is one of my favorite things in life. I never heard of the lions bringing fruit. Merchants may give ang pau, but usually arrange money another time, Honolulu people like to feed dollars to the lions.

Now the lions go to the temple to rest for another year! Good post here always :)
