Balik Kampung And Bazaar Ramadan Dataran Shahbandar, Kuala Trengganu.

WARNING TO LINA : Do not view this post before berbuka puasa.  The author is not responsible for any adverse side effect.

Last weekend, we "balik kampung"(go back hometown) for a short trip. Mamarazzi introduced me to this Upin and Ipin Comics. Now am hooked.

Got some "back up" while on the way back. Tapau-ed some pau to eat in the car.

MMmm...red bean Pau. Yummy.

Want some?

That evening when we arrived, Papa was not too tired so Papa and Mamarazzi went food hunting at the "BIG" Bazaar Ramadan at Dataran Shahbandar at the town center.

"Human Mountain, human sea" over there. Some already bought food and drinks waiting for the time to "break fast".

Saw many police officers there. Then got Police snapping photo of this man who was distributing some brochures.

Mamarazzi was hunting for her favourite Ikan Bakar there. She bought delicious Ikan Bakar from here in year 2009 and 2010. Last year didn't get to go to the Bazaar Ramadan as we did not "balik Kampung".

wow...this Ikan Bakar seller still remembers Papa and Mamarazzi.

MMmm...amazingly delicious "ikan Bakar" (Grilled Fish)

They have all sort of fish here. This round,  Mamarazzi tried Ikan Merah.

Jeng! Jeng! our Ikan Bakar Wrapped in Banana Leaf.

RM16.

Mamarazzi went hunting for Nasi Minyak John but can;t find. Instead was surprised to see some people selling clothing and decorations.

and toys. There were some "Pop Pop" but she did not buy for me.

Wahhhhh....impressive. Forgotten what food he was selling.

Hmmm...very Muhibbah spirit. There is even Chinese Soya Bean Drink vendor selling here.

What did I had?

Nasi Minyak. Kira okay la. Not fantastic but passable.

But the same can't be said for the piece of Chicken. Too oily!

Mamarazzi also had Nasi Minyak but with the Ikan Bakar.  It may look ugly but it was certainly very delicious. Very fresh and fragrant with the Banana Leaf fragrance.

As I was eating, suddenly there was a loud KABOOOM! sound. I was curious. I wanted to go outside to see but Mamarazzi said "MAKAN!!!". Papa said will show me what makes the KABOOM sound the next day. Can you guess what KABOOM sound is that?
