I was pretty excited when Mamarazzi told me that we will be going to watch "Coppelia" last Saturday. Many thanks to Jade for making it happen. She updated Mamarazzi about the videos and photos of the performance nearly everyday last week, getting Mamarazzi all excited about the performance.
I nearly couldn't go coz we only have two tickets but lucky for me coz Papa said he gave up his ticket for me lah. Guess good karma goes around, as one of Mamarazzi's friend got an extra tickets for the show. He gave it to Papa.
We got there pretty early. Had a light dinner at the Cafeteria while waiting for Auntie Little Bird and HRH Prince Anay of Thiru-something-something in the great Indian Empire.
Had a nice chat with them before the show starts.
Impressive....clear view of the stage from all angles.
La~la~la~ security was lax that evening. Camera not supposed to be allowed in but...oh well, many were snapping photo of the place hence Mamarazzi also took the opportunity la.
Upper circle not sold out. Papa manage to get a seat next to us which was empty. We have got nice legs room at our row. But the seats were slanting to the front a bit. Guess, it's time for refurbishment.
Photo snapped during the first intermission. I was pretty excited by the Act I. Awesome ballet. They jumped and twirled here and there as if they are made of feather.
But I kena 'bluffed" by Mamarazzi lah. She said the place is very strict. Late comers cannot come into the auditorium but during Act I, there were people coming in on and off and also changing seats. It was quite disturbing.
Second intermission . ...can you spot HRH Prince Anay? He is seated down there on the left side of the photo..
Act 3 was the best of all! Connor Walsh and Ena Hirose were amazing. They were so graceful.
Hmm...so fast the performance ended. But my tummy was playing drum already. Headed out to the parking lot. Was surprised to see quite a number of people wearing jeans and t-shirts coming out from the auditorium. Some even wearing 3/4 jeans. Hmmm....I thought jeans and T-shirts not allowed??
Oh well, none of my business. My first aim is "Maggi goreng".
off we went to Pelita near KLCC. Was packed withe people but we managed to find a seat. Sleepy leh....
Perked up when my plate of Maggi Goreng arrived.
Squeezed some lime onto the plate.
Mmm....delicious......
Mamarazzi had Maggi Goreng too with three layer tea. End up can't sleep that night...
oh dear you couldn't sleep after that glass of tea. Try not to drink tea at night.
ReplyDeleteAwesome. Would love to go there someday...

ReplyDeleteYep, J looks very smart here! Yeng!
So I think you all enjoyed the performance very much lo?
DeleteGood good, hehe ;)
yea...many thanks to the friend.
Deletesure enjoyed the performance
Glad you all enjoyed the live ballet performance and the maggi goreng. Bananaz also very excited over the live telecast of Showdown2013 by 8TV. All my prediction for the 3 categories were correct.
ReplyDeletethanks
Deleteaiya.....like that can you predict the winning number for this saturday ah? The yellow ones, red white and the red blue ones leh
I always thought we had lousy seats right at the side and the side wall of their stage actually blocked part of our views. Looks like your centre seats were too near the entrance. They should have been strict and keep the late comers outside until next intervals.
ReplyDeleteOverall, I personally enjoyed the ballet performance very much. The dancers were good and pranced beautifully. That night I had sweet dreams of swans circling around my bed!! Muahahahaha
DeleteAiyo poor Mamarazzi had sleepless night over a cup of tea!!! I could sleep well even if I drank coffee and tea kau-kau just before bedtime.
DeleteThey used to be very strict...duno what happen that night la. No signage showing where to go for respective tickets and letting late comers in like that.
Deleteyou so syiok ah ...so nic dream ah...mamarazzi pulak eye big big like the owl leh
Last time in Sibu also same...dranked 3 layer tea cannot zz but if drink coffee no problem wor... immuned to coffee
Not keen so I didn't go.

Deleteso lucky paparazzi got an extra ticket for himself, and able to get an empty seat next to small kucing.. good karma for bringing the Sibu Food Mayor everywhere while he was in KL lah i guess~~ :D
ReplyDeleteyea the ticket was for other place but then ngum ngum the few seats next to us were empty
DeleteUncle SK very ulu never been to Istana Budaya before.. it looks nice and classic inside the hall.. but mamarazzi's photo also as small as green beans, and Uncle SK's eyes as tiny as sesame, cannot see properly lah~~
ReplyDeleteaiya what to do....wanna save space and the blog load faster so have to make the pixel small lor...hence looks grainy
Deletesomemore want us to find where was Prince Anay of Tiruchirappallimuthulingam!! eih, picture so small and so blur and so dark inside, how to find?? even mamarazzi told us he was on the left Uncle SK also tarak nampak lah~~ so torturing my eyes!! LOL :D
ReplyDeleteThe town's name is getting longer and longer. Poor meow scrolled back 10 posts and read line by line. No wonder her pussy hair dropped banyak.
DeleteYa la...soo darn long ...some scroll sooooo many post tarak jumpa. Some more bump into a spammer...laughed like mad at anay's reply.
Deleteoh, can wear jeans and t-shirts and also 3/4 jeans?? somemore no control at all on the admission and seating?? that's very bad lah, such a disrespect to the performers on stage lah.. tsk tsk tsk!!
ReplyDeletedunno la.
Deleteaiyoh that Pelita near KLCC is always packed with people lah.. and padan muka this mamarazzi drinking 3-layer milk tea in the middle of the night, sure cannot sleep later lah~~ :p
ReplyDeleteya lor...padan muka lor....haiz
DeleteI would love to see the ballet! It's been so long. How annoying though, that everyone was in and out like that.
ReplyDeleteyea it was pretty annoying
