Hunting For Sheong Tong Lala at Kedai Makanan Laut Kebun Kelapa, Pandamaran

 Found this little Grasshopper on Papa's car. Am not afraid of it. 



 Grasshopper! oh Grasshopper! where can I find good and tasty Sheong Tong Lala?

Huh? Pandamaran? so far....

 Okay lor.....I will follow you~ Vrooom vroom me and my little car. It's so far. Arrived thirsty...ordered coconut drink to cool down.

The last time we were here the food was good.

 Finally Sheong Tong Lala....!

 Wait......Don't eat...I snap photo first.

 

Adei...there Papa "kacau" pulak

 Ordered wrongly...Mamarazzi wanted something with gravy for me so the Boss suggested "Taufu Kang". *faint* Sheong thong Lala was soupy and this one also soupy.....too tired from the long journey to think straight

 Dragon Leaves vegetable. First time eating this was in Seremban. Hmmm ...these were young and crunchy. Taste great




 Some fried sotong(squids) . Not that nice. Was a bit chewy.

 
For me...I love the Sheong Thong Lala . No for the soup coz Mamarazzi had forgotten to ask them not to put cili padi


 
 I like it coz of the Lala shell



 Wash already, wanna bring home and play. Want some?

    The tofu soup looks like the Sibu Foochow-style one... Lala looks good! Where is this Panda-whatever? Sounds like a place in Indonesia...

      i dun like chewy sotong. Recently, we had this type of sotong too...ended up, macam eating bubble gum!!

    Hey, what happened to the grasshopper as your story had no ending after it followed you to Pandamaran? I suspect you ate the grasshopper after mamarazzi asked the restaurant's chef to fry it inside the vegetables!! LOL

    I used to korek siput and big lala when i was a small kid in Thailand as my grandpa's house was near the beach. Nowadays all the lalas have fled and migrated elsewhere as the whole stretch of beach is infested with tourists.

      the other dishes also look good.. i've tried that Dragon Leaves before but didn't find it that special lah, just normal veggie lor, haha!! but then i love the calamari, slurp slurp, and i think mamarazzi order this dish quite often also right??

    i love lala too but we dont have it over here. Probably the people here dont eat it much. Everytime I go to WM, I will hunt and feast on lala. :)
