Restaurant Warisan Sambal Opah, USJ 9

Got to know about this place through B.Y.O.B 's Lady Boss. Said the Nasi Lemak here taste very good but have to beware as the queue for the Nasi Lemak will be very long.

Sure enough! wah lau eh...queue till outside the road leh.

While Mamarazzi was queueing up, I went and look around. Hmmm...got "noodle" here leh.

Adoi....no wonder long queue la. Everyone was buying more than a packet. The one infront of Mamarazzi was buying 10 packets!

Not to be out done, Mamarazzi also "tapau-ed" 6 packets. Two for each of us.

No wonder they cook such big pot.

a lot of "lauk" to choose from too.

"Tapau-ed " some eggs for Papa.

And a bit of Sotong for Mamarazzi. These two "lauk" costed RM7.  Kinda pricey for Mamarazzi.

Nasi Lemak was RM1 a packet. Portion just nice for small eater. Big eaters like me need to have at least two packets.

Though portion not that big and some would say RM1 is expensive for the portion, but Mamarazzi taste the Nasi Lemak and said it was real good. Got a lot of Santan.

For me, I love their Ikan bilis, Very crunchy.

  4. Queue??? No, thank you. That word is the same as "walk" or "run" or "climb" - they do not exist in my vocabulary... LOL!!!

  5. Must be spicy ho. I bet the egg cost RM0.50 each that's why the total cost is RM7. In Kuching, some stall sell the egg RM1 each! Haduii....

  11. wah, everyone tapao at least 10 packet?? i think because of the small portion, at least two for each person lah.. somemore i wonder paparazzi will need to eat 5 packets?? hehehe.. and then like only one person there, sure slower lah, purposely create the queue so that people are more curious, this is marketing tactic lah.. like those bubble tea and donuts tactic..

  12. things are never cheap now.. and never take for granted nasi lemak is cheap.. the plain one may not be too expensive lah, cos people already have a tolerance on the price for this.. but then the lauk they can charge you very expensive one.. especially sotong they count by pieces, so really have to be careful not to take too much, else you pay too much also..

  16. I was once very addicted to Nasi Lemak many years ago and had them every morning for breakfast! I stopped after seeing a colleague taken ill with so much cholesterol, gout, diabetes and high blood pressure. His doctor warned him to stop eating Nasi Lemak immediately. Goodness so scary!
