It's at Jalan Tembusu near the Han Ming Chinese School.
Forgotten the friend's caution of not going during school days when school starts/end. We arrived near school ends time but luckily managed to get a parking slot.
Very happy.
Dipping looks great.
Mamarazzi went to the counter to order. This place is special a bit as the put the YTF in big basket and customer can choose what they want.
Put into the small basket and hand over to the man there. The people there will put in the fishb paste and cook it on the spot for you.
They also have "paper wrapped Chicken" and "woon Chai Koh". Saw in blogs , many praise the Woon Chai Koh here but both Mamarazzi and Papa not fond of it so she did not order .
Papa had Chee Cheong Fun. They only have one type. Does not have the flat ones.
Mamarazzi ordered a bowl of Pan Mee for me. Not bad. A bit oily. probably the oil from the minced meat.
Here comes our big bowl of Yong Tau Foo. Heard Puchong have a YTF restaurant with Gau Gei Vege with the soup. Not sure ifthis is the shop coz that evening, no gai gei vege in the soup but they have the Cakur Manis in the soup. Taste pretty good.
Fuiyoh..these Fried YTF really heavenly. Crispy from the wok. YummmmmYYY!.
Fried perfectly and it was very big slice too. Really worth the price la. RM1.10 a piece. Much better from some of its competitors.
Here is the address is you wish to have some freshly made YTF
Lot 105 Jalan Tembusu
Batu 14
Puchong.
very nice!! they prepare everything upon ordering and not just pick and serve.. like the idea that you choose the vege and they stuff and fry on the spot, freshness guaranteed..
ReplyDeletei actually think the authentic CCF should be the rolled one rather than the flat one.. sometimes i would actually prefer the rolled one than the flat one too.. i remember somebody told me, rolled one is for kids and flat one is for adults, hahaha!! :D
Deleteyalah, the pan mee looks oily.. maybe the oil from the shallots?? hehehe, sorry lah your photo very small and uncle SK's eyes also very small so cannot see clearly..
Deleteyes lor...that is very special that attracts many people go there
DeleteLOL...mamarazzi also like roll ones.
Yes, the Pan mee was rather oily. Think oil is from the minced meat

DeleteMy favourite YTF place when I was living in Puchong.. Only complaint was it's too hot during the afternoon, so had to eat and wipe sweat at the same time! haha..

DeleteI miss woon chai koh esp the choi po and the chili together. Thanks for sharing this YTF place. Indeed, the ordering process is pretty unusual. Btw, was there any salted fish and minced pork in the filling?

DeleteA special stall indeed, they don't pre-prepare the fish paste into the vegetable you chose :D
ReplyDeleteI like the crispy and crunchy YTF! Usually opt for that and less for the vege ones, I'm so unhealthy, hahaha!
