Restaurant Harbour Steamboat at Bandar Puteri Puchong

It has been raining and raining and raining lately. It's like there is a hole up the sky.

Finished session at Subang Jaya Book Exchange Programme. Don't know what to eat. Mamarazzi said it would be nice to eat something hot as it have been pouring lately.

Decide to have steamboat and Bandar Puteri Puchong seems to have a lot of steamboat place.

Round round the place and this Harbour Steamboat Restaurant seems to have comfortable chairs and there was an empty parking spot nearby, hence, we just "tembak" this restaurant.

Forgotten it was a Sunday. Quiet a lot of people but as we were only 3 person, they managed to find a place for us. Those who came later had to wait for place.

Mamarazzi noticed that they have similar concept as Bone & Pot Steamboat.

They have 8 types of soup base and the soup are charged separately. Customers are to order the dishes they like.

Mamarazzi chosen Macau Pork Bone Soup (half RM10) and Papaya Fungus Soup (half RM7-50). She noted that the soup seems to be from the same source when she asked them to add some more soup. Same clear soup poured into the two halves.

Though Mamarazzi noted adding Papaya and snow fungus into the soup, makes the soup taste a lot sweeter. Of the two soup, she preferred the papaya soup.

What is that "stinky" smell?

It's this one. Not sure what it is. Smell like Taucu. Mamarazzi doesn't like it. But Papa loves it very much. Makes the food taste nicer.

Really ah? But I dare not try.

Pretty soon, our food came in a trolley. First tier.....

Second tier....

and third tier....

Am looking for the fire control nob.

Mmmm....can eat liao...smell great.

For me...I had nearly two packet of the Udon Noodles.

so nice to slurrrrrppppp with the soup.

Had the sweet corn and that is all about that my tummy can fit.

Mamarazzi ordered their "sui kow" (dumplings)

She was very please to discovered that in the dumpling, they had actually added a prawns, black fungus, meat and another ingredient that she could not identify. It was a pleasant surprise as usually dumpling in steamboat consist only of meat.

For us, price was not that cheap but the food was fresh and suit our taste. Hence, Mamarazzi feels that i's worth it.

Here is the address if you wish to try out the food there :

  7. Hi There, Sometimes, it is good to pay a little more at a restaurant IF the food is good. Glad you liked this one, even though it was more expensive... We have a dish here called "Chicken and Dumplings" which is quite popular with many Americans... I like to go to a favorite restaurant (Cracker Barrel) and have Chicken and Dumplings...

    Hugs,
    Betsy
