It has been more than one year since we "makan" at this restaurant. The last round we came here were in December 2010 and June 2010
Guess what I brought along to eat while waiting for the food to be served?
Tada!! Banana. Papa asked me how MONKEY peel banana and I showed him.
Then he called me a monkey! Hmph!
Don't care. Sumbat!!!!
Bittergourd with Salted Egg. I don't like but Mamarazzi like.
Alamak...what Tauhu is this again ah? Lupa...is it Tung Poh Tauhu or seafood Taufu ah? Forgotten liao. For me.
Teo Chew Steamed Patin for Mamarazzi. However, she was a bit disappointed as she feels the dish was not salty enough. HUH? That's a first time for her. And that the gravy from the fish was rather thick instead of the usual "watery" for those steam fish.
Why the gravy "pedas"? Looks like Mamarazzi oppsie again. Scooped the ginger into my rice too on top of the gravy from the fish dish.
Overall, it have been ok la but price was not as cheap as the first time we went there. This meal cost around RM60. The fish alone cost RM30 plus. Guess, the price have to be increase in view of the inflation over the year.
hehehehe, this paparazzi so naughty lah.. but i like that trick.. small kucing kena tricked and want to sulk at a corner almost~~ priceless expression on his face!! :D
ReplyDeletebut that photo that he sumbat the banana, hahahaha, really like small monkey instead of small kucing lor.. kucing eat fish and what eats banana?? :D
DeleteCan anak Meow eat banana one ah? ;p
DeleteSK- ya lo....
DeleteLina :P
ANAK MEOW SHOULD EAT IKAN BILIS.
DeleteTung Poh Taufu?? hahaha, you think Tung Poh Yuk meh?? i think this type of taufu is called Hong Siew Taufu lah, although it has too much gravy i would say..
ReplyDeleteSK that one is Hong siew ah? entah la...should have put caption "something something taufu" kakaka
Deletenot salty enough?? then it's ok lah, can add salt or soy sauce yourself mah.. rather than being too salty and you can't even eat right?? hmmmm, thicken gravy for the fish?? hmmm, how weird hor?? i thought steam fish should be watery gravy??
ReplyDeleteor perhaps the patin fish got lots of collagen and make the gravy thicken up?? woooh, like that good woh, collagen can make you "sui sui" lah~~
DeleteBut that steamed fish dish is cooked with salted vege. Hence it must be a tad salty, no?
DeleteI also prefer watery gravy and not thickened. Maybe the chef tertumpah some corn flour in it?
DeleteThis type of steamed fish, my girls like.
DeleteSK- ya ka? did not know. usually steam fish we had is the watery soup type. This one is like thick gravy so duno what to make of it. If it's collagen then untung us lo :)
DeleteYvonne. The salted vege they soaked already I think coz not that salty wor the vege. LOL tertumpah cornflour ah? No gua....LOL...if cornflour then okay la as long as not tertumpah others kekeke
