Candle Light Dinner at Windmill Restaurant, Subang Jaya

This is another "basi"(Stale) post

Last month just before Malaysia Independence day, I went for a Candle Light Dinner.  Papa said this place have Windmill one. I was so excited.

Excuse me.

Papa, where is the Windmill? Whose birthday is it? Why they put candle on the table?

What is there to eat ah? No kids meal. I want the turn turn turn noodle la

Huh....Why got flower get?

I don't like flower in my drink.

shoo shoo

*Satisfied*.

My bun
Like this.....

Mamarazzi ordered "Merdeka Day Set Meal" which comes with soup of the day

The soup tasted not bad la. Ordinary.

Also comes with this appetiser. Taste pretty good. The prawns was fresh.

While waiting for the Main, we had some escargot.

I didn't like it But Papa and Mamarazzi liked it. Mamarazzi likes the "Worm"(as I called it) while Papa likes the "Cream". Love the garlicky taste.

Here comes my "turn turn turn" noodle.

Can't wait to taste it

Papa had Grilled Lamb Kebab with BBQ Chicken Fillet

Mamarazzi had  Kiwi Delight Charbroiled Rib-eye with Oven baked Cheese Tiger Prawns.

She said the Tiger Prawns tasted great but the sauce for the steak was too salty. Maybe they should have put the sauce separately so that diners can add the amount the wanted.

The plate used was a bit too "crowded". It was rather hard for her to cut the steak while trying to be "lady like". A bigger plate would have been much better.

Dessert for the day. Pudding.

I thought its something like Guai Lin Gou Jelly. I kept asking Mamarazzi where is the "pour thing"(Honey Pot).

Complimentary coffee that comes with the Merdeka Set meal.

A surprise awaits us too.

We were given two mugs as we ordered their Merdeka Set Meal. The Meal was priced at RM59-90. Well, certainly it was worth the price.

As for the food taste, Mamarazzi said to her it's ordinary. There are room for improvement. Well, all this is subject to individual taste. Do try it out for yourselves before you decide you are going to like it or not.

We noted at that time they were renovating the ground floor of the restaurant. Hmmm....Maybe will come again when it's completed.

Here is the address if you wish to try out their food. :

Per set. Price is quite cheap considering they gave appertiser, main, dessert, coffee/tea and a free mug. That mug even if buy outside will be like at least RM10.
