Mamarazzi went to market this morning. She bought this funny looking keledek. But according to the seller, it's not a keledek. It's a type of fruit. Taste similar to the chinese yellow pear.
Can be taken raw or make soup.Said to be good for hypetension, diabetes and a variety of other stuffs. The cost for this tiny piece? RM1-70.

ReplyDeleteIt's not keledek according to the seller. I forgot whatsthename he mentioned. It taste like the China Yellow Pear with a bit of lingering "kum"(Cantonese) taste. Feel cool when you touch the skin.
ReplyDeleteI've cooked Lotus root soup with it. Veryyyyyy sweet.
Me too...have not seen this before. From the outside, looks like old timun to me, only thing is it looks narrower, but when see the cross-section, no seeds!
