Salt & Famous Pasar Air Itam Asam Laksa, Penang & Big Bad WOlf Books Next Desination!

 Yawnnnnn...... so sleepy...tired and hungry......

Early in the morning, followed Mamarazzi to Big Bad Wolf Books Sale to borong books. Am super happy coz we were there very early and not many people have arrived yet. I've got the first choice of all those lovely books.

Am very happy coz this round there are more children books for me than when Mamarazzi went for the December BBWBS in December 2012.

AFter hunting for food, it's time to hunt for food pulak. This round went for Asam laksa in Pasar Air Itam.

The last time we went for this Asam Laksa, Mamarazzi was having sore throat while Papa was having high fever. Hence they didn't get to enjoy it much.

Was surprised to see a cup of salt on each table....

Want some salt?

*lick*lick*...

nice nice....

The famous Asam Laksa. ...After taste of this laksa...Papa said it doesn't have the "umph" enough . Not salty enough but Mamarazzi said okay wor...salty enough.

*light bulb moment* no wonder there are  cups of salts on each table. Must be for those people who likes their Asam Laksa saltier.
Ordered some cold drinks from this stall located next to the Asam Laksa stall.

Su Koay Th'ng. ....errr.....not sure what it is

But it sure have many things inside...

Cool Longan drink.....but when Papa drink...he asked Mamarazzi to try it coz was wondering why is it tasted salty....I was snickering over there....I put some salt into that mah! That's why it's salty lah!.

Longan with Cincau and almond something something.....

As I don't eat Asam laksa, Mamarazzi went and hunt for something else for me to eat....lobak? Hmmm...I didn't like it. Papa ate for me.

In the end she cross the street to tapau something for me to eat. Most stalls were closed ....except for the friend noodle stall. Bought a packet of fried noodle for me. No container to put into so pour the noodle into the Lobak plate.

Wondering what is the best way to eat by the road side? Here is how...first must take off your shoes and then the baju roll up....sit down kangkang like an Ah Pek. That is the way! *LOL*

While I was finishing up my noodle, I bumped into Mr Wolf and the Team. He told us about his next destination. Fuiyoh......I bet Mr Wolf and his team gonna enjoy Ikan Bakar, Sata and Keropok Lekor a lot end of this month.

Yup...the Big Bad Wolf Books Sale will be heading to KUANTAN!!!. They will be at SASICC @ Zenith Hotel from 25th to 29th April 2013!

Please help me buy the BBWS Kuantan Fridge magnet (if they have it) ya, Kor Kor Jon . Thank you thank you :)

  1. Hahaha, Small Kucing played a prank by putting salt into the tong sui. Good idea to make the assam laksa not so salty and then put salt on the table for those who likes to eat salty food.

  2. See! The laksa not that great! Penang food over-rated lah!!! Not all that nice... I'm sure we can get the same stuff elsewhere that can be just as nice or even nicer. And the places there sooooo dirty, and the people soooooo rude! No need lah, I'd go some place cleaner, not so nice...fine by me...no need so sombong. You went to New World? I'd rather go there - everything, they have and all nice enough.

  22. Penang hawker food is always my favourite, especially Laksa. May be you went at busy days, most stalls were not serving the best standard of their food. Same here, when festive season, most famous stalls can deliver up to standard product.

    1. ya wor...too many people then hard for the hawker to keep the quality of food
