Restaurant Lee Hong Kee S/B(formerly known as Restaurant LYJ) , Sg Buloh New Village

Lately Papa "mengidam"(Craving) to have crabs. Thought of going to Fatty Crabs PJ but it's just too far. So decided to go to Sg Buloh New Village. Maybe one of the restaurant there sells crabs.

A few days before that Mamarazzi heard from a friend say that her family went to LYJ for dinner and the service was good. Previously, we have been to this restaurant twice at the old venue and did not like the attitude of some staffs who dismissed our enquiries with a wave of the hand.

Yup..Mamarazzi google and found a blog that says LYJ have moved and changed name to Lee Hong Kee.

Oh well, since this friend said it had improve....why not.

We had their famous cold dish. Paku Pakis. Taste very good as they tosh it with lime juice. RM16.

Errrr....where is the crabs? Oh well, it seems that they don't have or does not serve crabs. Not sure which one as Mamarazzi doesn't understand what the lady said.

No crabs ...no Sotong....lucky they have prawns. We had Kam Heong Prawns(RM29). Hehehe...syoknya...Papa peeled the prawns for me and Mamarazzi.

Mamarazzi likes the Lady fingers. It's the big and sweet type.

Caypot Taufu(RM16) for me. I like to eat rice with gravy. They added Black fungus in the dish. Papa loves Black Fungus.

Thought of having their "Hung Siew Chu Sau" but too bad they don't have that on that day

Total bill including rice and Chinese tea came up to RM67.50.

Food wise okay la. Environment was comfy.

  3. Small Kucing's papa is so nice to peel the prawns for Small Kucing and Mamarazzi. I find eating prawns with shells still on very troublesome. Is the hunt for crab still on since this trip did not fulfill that craving?
