Nasi Briyani -Experiment by Mamarazzi

This is another back dated post. Papa have been saying for a long time that always eats Nasi Briyani outside...can cook at home mah...Very easy one....

Oh ya...verrrrrrrryyy easy......googled the recipe...it seems that everyone have their own "recipe". Very confusing la.

Well, the first time Mamarazzi cooked...it end up in the rubbish bin.

Second round...oh well...since everyone have their own recipe...so Mamarazzi also simply hentam la...pick and choose the "universal" ingredients from several blogs la.

Small onions, ginger and lemongrass(not shown) blend them together.

Heat up some ghee and thrown in the cinnamon stick, star anise, cardamon, bay leaf and clove. Thrown in the blended ingredients and the chicken.

As Mamarazzi's Rice cooker had gone nuts...refused to cook if there is oil in it...so Mamarazzi had to steam the Basmati rice with the ingredients.

After the rice is cooked, just added the cashew nuts and the jumbo raisin... Gosh...didn't know Jumbo raisin is so expensive leh. One small container of 170gm jumbo raisin was around RM10. No wonder Nasi Briyani selling so expensive.

Hmmm...it turns out quite good la....Papa said need to put more salt. Oh well.....maybe next round will be better.

  15. Yeah, I also like to hentam whenever I cook. Usually pasta more easy to hentam, I got it right everytime. However other stuff I'm not too good at cooking. Didn't know raisins could cost so much. Anyway, got experience now, next time should be better lah, right?
