Kedai Kopi Yi Garden, Penang

First meal in Penang was at Kedai Kopi Yi Garden, located at the junction of Jalan Macalister and Lorong Selamat.

So many people queue up to order food from this stall...hmm...must be something good ya... Hentam just point and order la.

Turn out is this....looks like Cantonese Fried Bihun but with a lot of ingredient. RM5.50 a plate.

 I like.....

While eating...have to have drink la...

Also had some Fried Oyster. Not bad. RM7.

There was a stall selling Wan Tan Mee. Seems to be very popular too. Ordered a bowl If not istaken it was RM4.50.

Fuiyoh...the Wan Tan really BIG. In it was meat and a whole "biji" of prawn instead of minced.

 Also some lobak

And Satay.... The satay was a bit sweet for our taste.

Overall, love the Wan Tan Mee and the Cantonese fried Noodle.

  2. The prices there "sama-sama" with KL prices. I don't think I have eaten at this shop before. Maybe next time I go Penang, will go to this shop.

  14. Oh My Goodness! I have eaten in that place many times but I didn't know its name until today. I realised how ignorant I have been. However in Penang, we usually call the coffee shops by the road names or beside tong sampah, beside market drain, under the tree, T-junction shop and macam macam etc.
