Breakfast At Foh San Restaurant, Ipoh

I know I know.....long winded about Ipoh a...okay...this one is the second last post la....*LOL* I finally got to "swim" in this hotel.

Kinda sleepy after waking up early for the swim. Expecting a crowd at Fof San but surprisingly can still find table.  It was around 8am

Something changed since the last time we have been here . Now self service already. Aiks ...self service dim sum???

Don't really like it coz eat Dim sum must be a relaxing experience mah. People come serve baru syok mah. *hmmm wondering if they charge service charge. Forgotten to look at the receipt*

 nice nice fried brinjal.

Mamarazzi went and took some of this Prawns Siew Mai.

 Some mushroom fishballs

 Century eggs fishballs

Some Har kow

Got some of these funny looking  pau....said it's "Kum something something " pau.

Peeled open...ooooo it's lau sar pau ya.

Mamarazzi was feeling rather weak and tummy was still not fully well....so ordered some porridge. Uiks...they don't have porridge in a bowl like most Dim Sum restuarant. Instead it came in big pot. Minimum order is for two persons.

 Taste wise was nice enough.

Papa had two Char Siew Pau.

And some Chee Cheong Fun. Guess that day ate too much oily food so Papa did not feel well pulak in the afternoon.

Come out from the restaurant , retrieved a "Beef jerky" from the car windscreen. Adoi....#$%@ parking boy... Papa asked him whether have to put coupon or not he insisted no need....*grrrrrr*...now kena saman curse him lausai till bum bum cannot sit down!

  2. I would prefer to be served instead of self service in a Dim Sum restaurant. Something must have happened that all their waiters fled!!

  3. Originally all Siew mai had no prawns inside but now everywhere has prawns added inside except for Penang which still kept to its original recipe.
