Should I Redecorate My Room?

Time sure flies very fast. In a blink of an eye, we have been staying in the "new house" for half a year already.

When we first move in, my room looked like this. All brand new, sparkling clean and bright. I LOVEEEEE the blue wall paint.

But after looking at it for a few months, I feel kind of bored. It's so plain. My friend's room all very beautifully decorated with stickers and wall decorations.

Moreover, after a few months, there were some really unsightly smudges on the wall. Don't ask me how it got there. I don't know. That's my standard answers to all questions.

Then the naughty bedroom wall also came and hit itself against my chair. See! It made itself dirty and I got scolded by Mamarazzi.

I ask Mamarazzi to paint the room again. After all school holiday is coming soon. We can do that as a school holiday project. But Mamarazzi was lazy and said it's very tiring and expensive to re-paint the room.

She said re-painting the wall would not be the best idea as it will end up dirty again.

Instead she thought up an idea. Maybe we could get some removable wall decals from www.walldecalspop.com  to cover up the unsightly smudges. After all, removable wall stickers are cheaper than re-painting the whole room. Also less tiring to put up too. Mess free. Don't have to do a lot of cleaning up as compared to painting the room.

Think if we are fast, we can get it done within an hour. Just need to wipe the dust off the wall and put up the stickers. That would leaves more time for me to do other school holidays activities.

Mamarazzi said that unlike painting, wall stickers would not be stinky too. She won't get headache from the stinky smell of the paint.

I was looking for Cars wall stickers. Yup... am crazy about cars but it's kind of hard to find. My next favourite thing is robot. Am very keen on this Basketball Robot Playing basketball design from here . What do you think?

Mamarazzi thought it's not colorful enough but I like it very much. Well, when I get bored of this design, I can always get another design to replace it anyway as the wall stickers are easy to remove. It's mess-free. Just take it down and replace with new one.

This way, my room will feel like new every few months. Won't that be nice?

This got Mamarazzi thinking. Good idea. Maybe she can put this funny kitchen Lettering/Quotes in her kitchen so when visitors comes, she won't have to fly and do spring cleaning. Brilliant eh?

  11. Wah! Your walls so fast dirty already? How did that happen? Maybe you should tell Kaldip to paint with special Nippon Paint that can wipe off dirt like tiles. On second thoughts, I think the wall stickers are the best! No need to paint and no need to stain. Just peel and stick in minutes, right? I love that!

  16. of course it's for sure, the house old already sure the wall paint started to fade and you find smudges of dirt everywhere, and sometimes even flakes of the paint coming out!! that means it's time to do something!!

very true that painting the wall is very tiring and not cheap.. the wallpapers or wall stickers would be a good idea especially for lazy people, hehe!! and i am sure the designs of the wallpapers and stickers would be a lot more interesting than just plain wall painting..

ah, be it just putting on the the stickers and wallpapers as they are, or being more creative to make your own design out of those accessories, i guess it would be fun and surely represents your own characteristics.. what's more, bored already, then change to a new one in no time.. hehehe!! that's cool huh?? :p
