Papa had to go to Putrajaya for some business . We tagged along lor. Me and Mamarazzi waited in the car.
Hahaha...got chocolates to eat while waiting.
Hungry......
No thankiu....I don't want cili.
Mamarazzi said this pickled cili nice to put into the loh Shi Fun leh.
Portion for two...Claypot Loh Shi fun. Aiya....Mamarazzi forgotten to ask them put more dried shrimp. Very nice if with a lot of dried shrimps.
'
How do you eat it? Just add some black vinegar and pickled cili. Slurps...... I love it so much.
Why Mamarazzi ordered for two person only. See! Not enough to share liao. I can eat 3-4 bowls leh.
Lucky Papa that I have not enough to eat and he ordered one more pot. Yumz....
A week later we came here again. Brought a friend a long/ Had the Loh Shi Fun. The friend also said nice.
papa wanted to ordered their famous fried tauhu like what we had back 2011 but we don't know what's the name. Told the lady thei r Chiew Pai Tauhu but end up like this. Oh well...just eat la. Not as good as the ones that we had back in 2011.
For me, I am happy enough with the claypost Loh Shi Fun.
Thank you King Hua for the goodies from Sibu and thank you to Uncle Arthur for the Masak Hitam paste. looking forward to cooking with this.
Wah small kucing must really like the claypot loshifun to eat so much.

DeleteIt is SO good of you to think of a friend and take with you to share the good food.
ReplyDeleteIf you come, we can go makan (eat) together Ginny
DeleteI think you get to eat out more than anyone I know. How lucky you are.
ReplyDeleteLol...around once or twice a week :)
DeleteYaaaaa!!!!! Things from Sibu and Sarawak, always the best one!!!! :D
ReplyDeleteSo nice of King Hua to bring
DeleteClaypot Loh Shi Fun? looks like some shark fin soup to me though >.<
ReplyDeletesince you've the masak hitam paste from STP, i guess.. i will see some cooking post soon? :P
Cook ssme way as sharkfin. Replaved it with loh shi fun
Deletenah won't be posting that. Have already posted those twice before. Too many times readers will be bored
I've been to this place before.. But I didn't know the shop is called Yoke Heng la.. Recommended by my in laws.. They are popular for their claypot loh-shi-fun.. First taste, lots of "har mai" taste with mushrooms.. I like.. I tried asking for more "chue yau char", but they say cannot wor..
ReplyDeleteI ate there a few times before.. Mostly "kiu soong".. Previously, they kai-siew-ed their "tung poh yok" and salted sotong.. They say these are the best-selling ones.. Ooohh, not to forget the "seng kua taufu".. Kids will like it, there is gravy and all..
Ooohh, before I forget, they say their soya bean is home made.. So I always order soya bean there, hehe.. *Burrrpppp
No lard. They put dried shrimps. Used to put a lot. Yumz
DeleteHey, I would love to go for the golden noodles one day!! You made it sound so nice... and I love claypot noodles... yuummmss!!
ReplyDeleteYa lo...sedap leh the way they cook it
DeletePickled green chilli always make a noodle dish taste better!
ReplyDeleteit sure does :)
DeleteYup yup...plus the vinegar. ..slurps
ReplyDeleteI think the heavenly combo would be pickled green chillies, brandy and vinegar all added. This becomes heavenly nectar!
DeleteKaldip and Mamarazzi could host a TV Talk Show on food. You guys eat almost everywhere in Klang Valley from Tanjung Sepat to Putrajaya!
DeleteAhhh..no brandy wor.
DeleteTV talk show .? Susah cikit...later wanna makan also tak senang. Now go makan nobody recognise baru syok mah.
Look like porridge. Must be taste very delicious. :)
ReplyDeleteNot really like porridge ...yup..slurp...combined with the dried shrimp n cili jeruk....fuiyo
Deletehave to admit it's a unique dish. it seems a lot of famous people eat there, from the newspaper cuttings on the wall. maybe that's why it's also pricey!!
ReplyDeleteHave been famous for many years. Since thefirst Ho Chiak show. Price wise ok la...like BKT lo.
Deleteeih, Uncle SK has been to this Restoran Yoke Heng before.. but then of course cannot compare to the number of time Mamarazzi has been there (until she jelak), Uncle SK has been there two times only and only within this year.. friend brought him to go try the famous claypot loh shwee fun, and truly, it tasted so good!! and yup, gotta agree with Mamarazzi, the dried shrimps are so good they really enhanced the whole pot of noodles leh..
ReplyDeleteused to go thre frequently when staying nearby there
Deletebut then Uncle SK didn't tambah tambah the vinegar and pickled chili, he ate that in it's most organic form and still tasted very nice leh.. i think because the gravy is already very flavorful, plus the dried shrimps make it even more delicious.. first bowl Uncle SK will eat plain one, then maybe second or third bowl baru add in a bit of vinegar.. try all the different tastes at one go mah, clever or not?? haha..
ReplyDeletewhy leh....tambah much nicer leh but then that is personal taste la
Deletewah, Small Kucing so "yan seong" this claypot loh shwee fun from Auntie Yoke Heng ke?? usually he won't be able to finish or ask for more, bet this one suites his taste a lot.. 3 to 4 bowls ah?? wah, that is almost two person portion already woh, really can eat so much?? but then cannot eat so much at one go also, because it's something very starchy so can get jelak fairly quickly woh..
ReplyDeletecoz ho chiak lo...can slurp slurp very fast finish leh
Deleteoh, how come Mamarazzi didn't show them the photo of the fried toufu?? or just describe a bit then i think the boss will know which one you want to order mah.. just to confirm also lah, when we go order their signature toufu, we also ask how it's cooked mah.. but then Uncle SK think okay lah, afterall their food also quite nice one woh, he loves the "yuen yong kai lan".. stir fried kailan with garlic and then topped with crispy shredded kai lan leaves, nice!!
ReplyDeletecoz dataline very de slow leh
DeleteBy the time tuik tuk already too late and then Mamarazzi dun wanna show la. Later they know its blogger leh. makan also tak senang lor
Mamarazzi and I eat alike. I would fill my whole bowl full of green pickled chillies that makes the thick soup more heavenly. I would add brandy if the dinner hosts brought them too! Lagi yummy!
ReplyDeleteyou manyak pandai enjoy dei
Deletewahhhhh looks good lah
ReplyDelete*slurp*
can home make too...just the noodles...water...egg and starch...add some fried dried shrimps....yums
DeleteSmall Kucing kuat makan eh? ;)

ReplyDeleteNo bring me go then must vacuum pack and dijamin sampai hari esok...

DeleteThat green chillies are superbly good with any noodle dish. I can see the justice they did to the rat noodles.
ReplyDeleteyup....slurps
DeleteI miss the claypot LSF...
