Last November, Mamarazzi "Ponteng" a lot in cooking.
If on days which I have tuition, we would round round cari makan. One day we round till Subang Jaya. I feel like having noodle. So try tried out this new shop...new coz we just noticed it...
But when went inside, Mamarazzi said not la...don't eat noodle. Order their set dinner la coz cheap mah, RM29.90 only which consist of 4 dishes.
Curry Chicken. Papa love it.
Wantan Soup. Me like the Wantan Skin
Claypot Oink Oink. Mamarazzi missed the way which her granny cooked this dish. Nobody nor shop can cook as well as my great granny not matter how good.
Green vegetable.
Mamarazzi saw they have Papaya soup so ordered one bowl. Said taste sweet. Would have been perfect if the snow fungus was not over cooked.
Me...I end up having vegetable and soup la. A bit of the meat but not that much la. I like Roasted pork better.

DeleteOoohh I love papaya soup also.. When I was preggie, I boiled and drank a lot.. I usually put chicken or pork ribs, but mostly pork ribs la, then (raw) papaya, snow fungus, red dates and carrots.. This is "salty" version.. If want sweet version also the same, but add rock sugar only lor.. Means (raw) papaya, snow fungus, red dates, dried longan (optional) and rock sugar..
ReplyDeleteThey say drinking papaya soup is good before and after delivery, it helps to boost "nen nen" milk for the mummy.. To be honest, I didn't find it helpful to boost my "nen nen" milk after delivery, but I have to say it helps before my delivery. I drank every week and it's very "yun" and "nen nen" grew in double size, if squeeze already got milk inside during the 6th-7th month..
My favourite is the braised oink oink claypot too.. Both my mum and mil cook very good braised oink oink pot, and usually we add a lot of hard boiled eggs inside.. Can wallop a gunung of rice with just the gravy and egg..

DeleteMamarazzi didn't cook in the month of November, because it was the BBWS month mah, she gotta camp there for 230 hours, so where got time to go home to cook?? better just eat out so that she could have more time shopping for her food - errr, books i mean..
ReplyDeleteoh Yip Kee.. errr, sounds familiar leh, i remember there's also one shop in Low Yat Plaza also about the same name, but dunno whether they are the same shop.. selling double-boiled soup and also rice with dishes lah.. hahaha!! the first photo, happy happy browsing the menu to look for noodles, the second photo once hear mamarazzi said no noodles but the set dinner - look at Small Kucing's expression on the face, wakakakakaka, so cute lah!! can get Oscar next year already :D
that claypot oink-oink is what?? kao yoke or hakka zha yoke?? wah, Mamarazzi can still remember those cooked by her grandma, must be very very nice lah.. so the food there actually so-so and nothing to shout about lah, cos Mamarazzi didn't bother to mention a lot also, haha.. but very funny lah, how come Small Kucing only likes the wantan skin?? not the soup and not the wantan filling?? eih, this boy really have special taste huh?? he likes everything plain one.. haha!!
