Photobook.com.my - *Not A Paid Post*

Last year, Mamarazzi saw Auntie Melissa posted up a groupon link in her Facebook. It's for "[Up to 100% Off] 40-Page Personalised Photobook from Photobook Malaysia from RM0".

Being super kiasu, she went over to the link and peek. Wow....seems to good to be true. Saw over 100,000 have already "purchased".  

She told Papa. He said maybe it's just a system glitch. They might announce the offer not valid later on, he said.  

Oh well, no harm joining the crowd. She registered and promptly got her "voucher". 

Earlier this year, she compiled all my photos. Wanted to get them developed say that it's quite expensive. 

She decided to try out the voucher that she purchased in October. 

Downloaded the Photobook designer software. Surprisingly the software was very easy to use and very flexible.

There were many backgrounds, page style, masks, scrapbooks and frames to choose from. Hey, she can even add or delete some of the boxes in there.

Every night she work on it. Adding and deleting...arranging and rearranging the photos.

Finally it's the time to "order" the book. It's the time to know whether the offer is valid or not. 

Clicked "SUBMIT". When come to the payment screen, her heart was beating fast. Will all those night burning midnight oil will go to nought. She entered the voucher number as in the groupon email.....Voucher Code is INVALID! 

Yikes!.....oh no!....then she noticed the fine print....ohh.....she missed one step. Gotta "convert" the voucher first. 

Okay...that done and immediately she received a new voucher codes and verification code. Key in the two of them...Voila! Great...now she only have to pay RM8 for the postage. 
 
What she love about Photobook.com.my system is that they update their customer each step of the way. 

Voucher converted, she received an e-mail. Order received, she got an e-mail. And another e-mail giving her the Order Number. Upload completed, she also received an e-mail with link to track her order. 

She can see it's in Printing stage, Binding stage, QC stage and second QC stage and finally another e-mail notifying her that her order have been shipped out. 

All these done within 48 hours.

 

Well, as for shipping part...our area is a new area. The Courier Company guy did his best. 

First attempt he couldn't find our place. The next working day he called Mamarazzi up and asked for direction. Can see his "map"on the parcel. Good job! 

 

Yay! My photobook at last! Love the classy package. The photobook was wrapped in a clear plastic bag, and put into this classy box. Further secure with a tie.

Being "kiasu" Mamarazzi "sumbat" as many of my photo into the photobook as she can. Quality wise not bad. Some of the color was a bit dark but that was because she did not adjust the color properly.

Yup...the software allows her to make the color of the photo lighter, darker, black and white, sepia and also enhance the quality of the photos.

Among the photos....she loves this one best. Taken at a beach in Pulau Belitung. I look great , right? It's one of those lucky shots.

Ahem ahem....Mamarazzi's hand is itchy. Want to make some more photobook. Ahem ahem...if anyone hears of such good offer again, please remember to let Mamarazzi know ah.
