Restaurant Meng Kee Ramen, Glenmarie

Jalan jalan cari makan ...I want noodle...Papa undecided and Mamarazzi want Sui Kow(dumplings). Too far to go to Damansara Utama.

Well....headed to Glenmarie la. There got Meng Kee restaurants. There are three of them.

I want this!

  Plain Keoy Teow Soup RM5.50

I don't want with any ingredients in it. Hence Mamarazzi and Papa "helped" me to finish off  bits of the chicken meat.

Mamarazzi had Sui Kow(RM5 for 5 pieces). She love it very much . Said they put a lot of things in the si kow. can taste the crunchiness of the sengkuang and carrots.

The only downside was that they did not have cili padi as dipping on that day.

I had Soya bean(RM2.50). Funny looking glass. At first papa thought something not right with my glass but later on, discovered that the design of the glass is "wavey".

Papa had Miso Ramen(rm6.80)

Then Papa noticed that they have Nasi Lemak too. Ordered a plate of Meng Kee Style Nasi Lemak RM3.50.

Not bad leh ...got a piece of chicken meat. Only downside was that the rice does not have the nasi lemak fragrant on that day.

Looks like they have plenty of other stuffs in their menu.

Here is the address if you happens to be at Glenmarie area and wanted to try out their food. : No.20, Jalan Pekedai U1/36, Hicom Glenmarie Industrial Park, 40150 Shah Alam, Selangor

Parking might be a problem during lunch time. They are open for dinner time too. Not so crowded during  dinner time.

Soup also nice (coz it's not mummy's usual + boring ABC soup ma, keke).. Outside makan punyer soup always taste nice, yes?

All the food you ordered also my favourite.. I like ramen and nasi lemak too.. I can finish it all by myself, no need share-share, keke.. RM3.50 for a plate of nasi lemak with chicken is ok wor, not expensive at all.. Yesterday I was on leave kan? I bought nasi lemak from a roadside stall near my house.. Nasi lemak with chicken and 1 telur mata, RM4.50 leh..

Uncle SK also realized he has noodles more than rice lah, sometimes one week baru have one or two meal of rice only.. we are not "rice barrel", we don't need rice everyday or every meal, haha!!

  7. aiyoh, jakun paparazzi lah.. the shape of the glass is special design mah, i actually seen this wavy glass before lah.. no big deal, but i think the type of glass i like most are those in HK Cha Chan Teng chains, where they give something like a big jam jar with a handle, haha, that one is cute lah, can isi a lot of the drinks and i get excited seeing such a big portion, because you know lah, nowadays drinks are so expensive, give a bigger portion and i am actually happier~~ :D
