Tony Roma's , Thamrin Nine Podium, Jakarta

Woohoo! First time in our life which we managed to squeeze in this "scooter" . It was fun! It went zoom zoom through all the "big" road and back lanes. Certainly saw another side of the city.

Yes...finally at Thamrin Nine Podium. Yes, lets Eat Drink and Be Merry!

Yup...came here to try out their world famous Pork Ribs. Don't think we have it in Tony Roma's Malaysia

Another difference here is that kids don't get to eat free on Mon-Wed . They don't have this promotion.

But the Kids Menu is similar to the one we had over here. I had Chicky Meat.

The adult meal came with the bread .

and over here they have butter knife. Yeah...Last time we went to the outlet in Sunway Pyramid the Waiter said no butter knife.

People said Kids are creative....Mamarazzi agrees.

I saw the bread. I say my Chicky piece...I saw fries....I saw the dip...well...lets make a burger! My own burger meal at Tony Roma's. Yums!

The highlight of the night. Oink Oink ribs. Mamarazzi said it tasted delicious. Well marinated and juicy. She had three...nope not three plates but three "batang"...is it called shank?

Anyway , three is just enough for her. Too much sure can't finish.

Here is where we had the food :-

Tony Roma's Restaurant
Thamrin Nine Podium, Mezzanine Floor Unit C, JL. M.H. Thamrin, No 10, Jakarta, 10230, 10230, Indonesia
+62 21 30006723

The place seems to be a bit hidden. Asked the guard at Thamrin City they doesn't seems to know where is Thamrin Nine Podium.

  1. So creative Small Kucing, made a burger to eat. Tony Romas here used to have pork ribs for a very, very short while only. I think shank refers to leg.

  4. Eh, the "scooter" looks like "tuk-tuk che" (tuk-tuk car).. Eh, when I was typing the word "tuk-tuk", I suddenly remembered you said even if TM patah kaki tangan, will still hold a pen in his mouth to "tuk-tuk" on the keyboard to komen in SK's blog.. Hahahahaha... I non-stop laughing liao now !!

Eh, if I'm not mistaken, Tony here in KL pun ada the ribs leh.. I ordered before wor.. They somemore give 4 types of sauces to go with the ribs.. But anyway, nice mou the ribs? They give 4 types of sauces mou?

I like the honey mustard sauce in J's kiddy meal.. I always order another cup of honey mustard when I dine there.. Must-have is always the fried mushrooms.. They serve honey mustard sauce with that fried mushroom.. Wah, that one heaven oohh...

  12. the food looks good, errr, actually i think pretty standard across their chains worldwide?? looks the same lah except that we do not have oink-oink here.. so this Small Kucing made a chicky burger for himself?? haha.. why didn't he also make a pork ribs burger for Paparazzi and Mamarazzi?? so Mamarazzi only have half of the ribs?? shared with Paparazzi or Paparazzi has extra half portion to eat??

    1. The ribs was shared. nah...I preferred the "burger"

  20. I was stunned to hear that they served Pork Ribs there when their Muslim population is higher! Their marketing strategies must have failed if talking about market share. I wonder where this TR originated... Let me google later.

  21. I also noticed most of the big restaurants in Jakarta were crowded and noisy! Our folks here are noisy too but theirs is.......!!!! I salute you guys for exploring more places than me cos I had to work and had meetings. I met an old classmate on Tuesday who was an ex-Air steward and he enjoyed his breaks in Jakarta too! He told me everything was cheap, nice and shopping was a bliss. He made me regret!
