Kedai Pojok, Belitung Island indonesia

Wah.... this Uncle Anton and his family really thought we are big eaters ah?

Mak oi! Ordered soooooooo many dishes.

Fried prawns

Grilled fishes.

Gulai Fish.

A different style of grilled fish. Funny here there use these big leaves to "alas" the fish while we used Banana leaf back home.

Fried Squid.

Some fried vegetables.

All these seafood were delicious as they are fresh from the sea. So much...can't finish...had to tapau back.  Price wise not sure as Uncle Anton refused to say.

I had fun coz we had a "kids corner" where I got to eat Malay style.

Dunno why....I  kept wanna carry Uncle Anton's youngest daughter. She is so cute.

  2. Aaahh, back to this Balitung post.. Ooops, I mean Belitung.. Been waiting to see what Uncle Anton and his CLAN cooked for you guys for dinner.. Oohh, no cook wor, brought you guys out for dinner I supposed?

Wah, banyak seafood oohhh, except crabs only.. Wah, got fish, prawns, sotong, sedap oohh.. The fried prawns and squid looked a bit dry though, no gravy or sauce? Makan just like that ahh? J got demanded for tomato sauce or mayonaise or not?

Wah, fresh from the sea.. I really would love to have a bite of everything that was served.. Ooohh, kids 1 corner, adults 1 corner ahh? It happens here also when I dine with my in laws.. They have a big family, so if we go dine together, the kids will be sitting at 1 table, we adults pulak will be sitting at 1 table too.. hehe..

  14. Talking about these leaves, I also noticed this odd thing in Bali and Thailand. They used different leaves and even fresh flowers to decorate the dishes.
