Double Liver and Smoked Duck Rice @ Restaurant Xiao Lao Wang Hotpot, Sg Buloh New Village

This was back in October or November last year. After my tuition, tarak tau what to eat. Dropped by  Restaurant Xiao Lao Wang Hotpot la. Thought eat something not so filling like steamed boat.

But then Mamarazzi saw this. Hmm...long time have not eat this. She ordered one small pot.

Ordered a bit of stuffs for the steamboat.

I wanted "noodles" for the steamboat

But I was very hungry at that time leh....hmm...the "yee Mee" already fried...errr...can eat like "mamee" gua...nice and crunchy leh

This quial eggs I ordered punya. I love quail eggs.

Finally Mamarazzi's Wax Duck Rice arrived. Tak sempat snap photo , the waiter "gaul" the things already

MMmm....Mamarazzi said smell so nice. taste not bad. But Papa ate said he didn't like it coz of the strong smell.

As for me...I eat it with "kar Liu"(add ingredient). Yup...I added the quail eggs to the rice. Weird but I do it my way.....

Hmm.... Chinese New Year is just around the corner.. guess it's the best time to stock up those wax duck and Chinese sausages. Can make in to "Lap Mei" rice. should be good.

  3. Sekali terbaca double liver, I immediately thought of oink oink mee.. Adui, I dunno why I will always think of oink oink mee when I see words like liver la, intestines la, etc.. I'm a big fan of oink oink mee lor.. I always ask for extra fried lard (chue yau char), intestines and livers.. I love the liver especially..

Double liver smoked duck rice means what? Means that pot of rice got a lot of duck liver? Or there are two types of liver inside the rice, macam one type is spicy, the other type is salty? Macam like I went to eat chicken chop at this cafe, they have this Empire Chicken Chop, whereby they serve two types of chicken chops on the plate - one type fried, the other type grilled..

OMG, I saw fried luncheon meat and bacon.. I can't live without luncheon meat.. So you guys ate the luncheon meat separately, or dump into the porridge to cook for a while? If dump into the porridge to cook for a while, then ma become soggy and "lum pet pet" liao lor?

Wah, itu yee mein kasi masuk dalam porridge jugak? The porridge looks so thick liao somemore mau put the yee mein in.. Wah, I wonder how the porridge taste like after mixing with the yee mein coz usually yee mein have strong smell, hehe..

  12. I like the strong taste of duck liver but guess Small Kucing's Papa doesn't like that taste? Or is it the strong taste of wax that he doesn't like?

Not weird at all to put the eggs into his rice bowl and eat together but eat yee mee uncooked is, hahaha.
