Restaurant Ayam Goreng Cianjur, Puncak

By the time our car crawl up the mountain, the sun was setting. There was a lot of cars going up the mountain. In fact, there was a lot of cars all the way from Puncak to Bandung. Took us about 3 hours plus to arrive Bandung.

Papa and Mamarazzi hungry liao leh.  Asked the driver to recommend place to eat . Some thing that is not spicy so that I can eat too.

As for me, I was feeling grumpy lor coz exhausted from playing whole day. Didn't wanna eat but Papa and Mamarazzi insisted that I must eat something.

Uiks......Uncle Pete also famous here ah...got Nasi Goreng Pete wor.  There's even Sop Buntut...bum bum soup??? Maybe not la....

Mamarazzi spotted these Keropok Barinjul. Mamarazzi knows someone who loves these. Papa bought two packet of these.

Taste....hmm....Mamarazzi didn't like the smell and the taste....taste bitter ....like Panadol and have a very strong smell.  Sounds like Durian eh....guess like durian, this is an "acquired" taste la.

Me "cat napping" while waiting for the food ...

Papa ordered this daging empal...

The Ayam Goreng...surprisingly it tasted like sweet BBQ sauce meat...Well, marinated. Maybe use same sauce as those used to make Char Siew?

Simple piece of Tauhu but they sure know how to fry it. Not oily and yet have crunchy skin. Taste very good.

Papa ordered Avocado with chocolate drink for me.

Hmmm ..this one is thicker than the one I had in the morning. I still preferred Orange Juice.

But the dish that Mamarazzi likes the most is this...Pucuk Labu. If not mistaken, it's pumpkin leaves. The leaves really young . She love the texture of it. Not over cooked not oily.

We had these at the restaurant which the driver recommended. : -

  15. Looks like small kucing is not so 'small' anymore...hehe, kids really grow up very fast! Avocado with chocolate?? First I've heard, but I guess the milky texture of the avocado fruit does compensate for the rich chocolate? Not a fan of either, lol!
Happy New Year to you!~ :-)
