Mamarazzi's Agak-agak Curry Chicken Recipe

One or two months ago, Papa and Mamarazzi were having lunch at Chili Padi Kafe. They had Curry Chicken Rice.

Papa commented it's easy lah to cook curry chicken..Mamarazzi pulak...adoi...how ah...like a lot of work leh...with a lot of help by Mr G, she finally "agak-agak" on how to cook Curry Chicken. There were just too many recipe out there. Some say put this and some say put that. Very confusing leh.

Okay la...she just hentam put about 6 onions,  2 pip of garlic, about 2cm of ginger and blend them together la.

Peeled and cut some potatoes.

Used some Cili powder, curry powder and a bit of Asam Jawa water to make it into paste.

Fry the blended ingredient till the whole kitchen stinks till it's aromatic. Add in the curry paste.

Throw in the Chicken meat. When the meat is half cooked then add some water.

Add the potatoes. Boil till the potatoes nearly done, then add Coconut Milk. Cook for about 10 minutes then it's ready to be served.

Alamak....one more thing...while cooking, add some salt . Forgotten about that.

Got some Roti Paratha from the hypermarket.

Fry some in the pan without any oil.

Muhahaha...Mamak "roti Canai" with curry is ready .

Wait..... not yet.....gotta make Ice Coffee ma.

Some Ice Coffee then I can bring it to Papa for breakfast lor. Then can bodek Papa bring me go gai-gai lor.

Good idea leh?

The thing about blending is, if I blend those garlic and ginger and onions, my whole blended will have "that smell"...

  15. The Chef Agnes Chang always told me that those Instant Ready-Mixed Curry pastes are now manufactured to perfection that you just need to add a bit of lemongrass or curry leaves & lemon to add some booster!! Those sachets are suitable for busy working mums!!! Your mummy is free and easy, so she should not use sachets lah. Nanti Kaldip merajuk!

  16. wuah....can open a stall already! ..... i think with potatoes, you might need to boil them first, then add in later.....curry taste better overnight! ....so Kaldip said ok tak?
