Restaurant Xiao Lao Wang Hotpot, Sg Buloh New Village

Mamarazzi saw Choi Yen blogged about this restaurant earlier this year. It was located where Restaurant LYJ once was.

WOw...a lot of sauce and dippings to choose from Or if you want, you can just "mixed" everything up in a bowl.

As there were only three of us, we didn't order much la....errr....there was more quail eggs...but some had gone into my tummy before Mamarazzi get the chance to snap photo.

Some Bihun and Noodles.

We opt for the Chicken WIne and pork stomach soup. It came in a Claypot. Surprisingly there was a lot of pork stomach and chicken meat in the soup. Thought it would be minimal only.

The soup was "hot" ...peppery hot but I don't mind it. Nice.

Pricewise, it was normal KL price. Soup was RM16.80 while all the balls and vegetable was RM4 above. Similar to those hotpot shop price but Papa feels that the portion was more over here. Service was good and fast.

Here is the address if you wish to try out their version of Hotpot:

PT 11 Jalan Perkhidmatan,  Kampung Baru Sg Buloh,  47000 Selangor.

  3. This all looks so good, especially the noodles. Do quail eggs taste different from chicken ones? You must have a wide and good taste experience, most kids here do not like hot or spicy foods, they have to "grow" into them.

  10. I like this type of restaurants that offer various dipping sauces to choose. I eat the sauce more than the boiled ingredients!
