From Brickfields Hawkers stall to Classy Bangsar Village Roast Duck

Earlier of this month Auntie Claire came down to KL for a few hours to accompany Jie Jie Fernie for a scholarship interview.

As she had a few hours to spare, Papa ajak Mamarazzi to go and "kidnap" Auntie Claire.

Off we went to the best CKT (in Mamarazzi opinion la) stall in Brickfield. Mamarazzi of course had CKT with Kopi O(coffee with sugar only) while Papa had mixed pork porridge.

Aunite Claire had the Pork "mouse noodles". No mouse in them. No idea why it's called "mouse noodles" . The crunchy pork lard on top sure looks good.

As for me....nothing for me lo coz I was in school. It was a week day after all.

After breakfast, Papa and Mamarazzi dropped Auntie Claire off at the place where Jie Jie Fernie having her interview. Planning to pick them up again after Jie Jie Fernie done with the interview .

Was planning to "kidnap" Auntie Claire and Jie  Jie Fernie to go for lunch at Village Roast Duck Restaurant with Auntie Annie and  Auntie Yoong.

Guess we can only plan but it doesn't always work out the way we planned. Halfway to picking Auntie Yoong up, the car broke down. Had to have it towed.

Many thanks to Auntie Annie for answering Mamarazzi's S.O.S to pick up Auntie Yoong.

Finally made it to Village Roast Duck in Bangsar Village shopping complex. Had the something something brinjal which was yummy according to Mamarazzi.

"Wobbly" meat with yam ....melt in the mouth...

 Mixed Vegetables.

Very special Tofu with Petai. No sign of petai anywhere  but very strong petai aroma coming from the tofu. Guess they minced the petai and add into the tofu? Delicious!

The "hero" of the day...Roast Duck. Portion quite large. Had a hard time finishing it.

It was a delightful lunch according to Mamarazzi. Too bad Auntie Claire can't join else the whole place gonna "runtuh" from all the laughter.

To my delight, I found these goodies from Auntie Yoong when I came home. Thank you very much, Auntie Yoong!

 My midnight snack.

 Impatient. Wanna make paper aeroplane.

Here is how the aeroplane land....

Also Many thanks for the Big Angpau from Auntie Claire!

Not forgetting, thank you to Wenn for the herbal soup packages.
