The Hulk and "Chicken Fried Salt".

Long time Mamarazzi have not posted about her wacky cooking leh?

ya lor too many things happening and the not enough time to blog about it....aiyo...her cooking ah...have to take a back seat la

Anyway, last school holiday we went back to Ah Mah's house and Ah Mah made "Kay Hong"(Chicken with Black Sauce)

Coming back to KL, Mamarazzi was lazy...don;t know what to cook so one day she remembered another one of Ah Mah's simple dish, "Kay Char Yam". Loosely translated as Chicken Fried with Salt and this is just what it was.

What you'll need is Chicken meat(duh!)

Boil the meat in water hot water(duh again!). Add a piece of ginger and some spring onion into the boiling water. Why? errr...duno....saw some blogs suggest to add those so Mamarazzi add those la. Also added some salt. After the meat is fully cooked, take it out and shred it.

Yes, of course you need to let the meat to cool down before shredding.

As for the "water" , don't throw away. Tapau and put into freezer. Can make into chicken soup when needed.

This is optional.....oink oink meat but Papa like it with oink oink meat la coz say taste nicer wor.

Pour some oil into the wok, throw in some diced garlic and some salt. Then pour the Chicken and oink oink meat into the wok and fry them.

MMm ...not bad looking hor? Nice to go with white rice, fried rice and even stuffed into bread. Hmm...Mamarazzi didn't even get to taste this....Papa and me walloped all.

Eat liao very good one leh...can turn into the hulk...

See....the mattress fell down wanna penyek me.

 but never fear!

My BOTAK head saves the day! Stronger than The Man of Steel!

  16. Sounds like a simple recipe to follow! But a bit wasted to boil chicken and shred it (unless it's chicken breast meat which I don't like :P). Usually I'd rather eat the boiled chicken Hainanese style - with the oil rice and chilli sauce. Also less work.. haha
