Restaurant Hoi Yin, Kuantan(Halal)

Mamarazzi woke up at dawn the next morning. Have to wake up early to avoid the crowd.....not the BBWBS crowd but...

The crowd at Restaurant Hoi Yin, Kuantan. Saw in various blogs that this restaurant is very famous for its Kari Mee(Curry noodle) .

Mamarazzi been dying to try out their curry mee for a few years but each time came to Kuantan, it was closed. Wrong timing.

But persistance and perseverence paid off. This time it was opened.

Arrived slightly after 7am....a few tables were occupied. wah...people so early ah.

What's that? Cili? why? To add if you want your noodle to be extra spicy.

For me.....Cheng Thong(Clear soup) noodle will be enough. OMGH! my noodle was "timbus"(covered with) by all the liu....why so much liu ones.....and Mamarazzi ordered "small" for me.

See! Big chunks of chicken meat!

You want some? Too much for me leh.

Mamarazzi's bowl of curry noodle also size small. Generous portion. Taste wise...hmmmmm....not bad la for Mamarazzi. She needs extra cili for the extra "UMPH".

Final satisfied and can claimed that she had ate at this shop before. Hmmmm.....to bad Mamarazzi didn't bring out her IC. If show her IC, I wonder whether can makan free or not at this shop .

Price wise is considered cheap in view of the generous portion given. Moreover it's so near to the Teluk Cempedak Beach. hard to find this kind of low price anywhere ealse I should say. Wah lau eh...RM4 only for size small and not even RM5 for big bowl of noodles.

No wonder the curry noodle here is so fast selling.

By the time we leave around 7.45am, there was already a crowd. Lucky we came early.

Here is the address if you would like to try out the curry noodles :-

No.31, Jalan Teluk Chempedak, Kuantan, Pahang.

  14. The curry laksa looks good. It's not easy to find good curry laksa - with the right amount of coconut milk instead of diluted with water, properly soaked tofu or better still with fried pig skin (yum!) and fresh cockles. *gulp*

  19. Looks like a popular place and I do agree that the price make a difference. Quite a lovely bowl of curried noodles. Being a small eater, I think it would have been ample for me.

  21. eih, this is mamarazzi's restaurant lah.. i wonder if mamarazzi had the chance to meet up with the boss?? but how can mamarazzi not bring her IC when going out huh?? later kena tangkap polis lah~~ :D

  22. wah, really very generous with the chicken lah!! looks like the chicken pieces were even more than the noodles itself!! haha.. like that it is not "curry noodles" but "noodles curry" already~~ :D

  23. RM4 a bowl ah, not expensive lor consider that huge amount of chicken pieces given.. and the jumbo ones are only RM4.70.. in average RM1 cheaper than in KL..

  24. Bring IC will get free food? Really? I also want go. Hahahah.. The price of foods in West Malaysia are still cheap. Over here KK, one bowl cost RM6 and above even in small kopitiam.
