Let's Salsa

Papa was watching one of those cooking show on TV and one was showing someone making salsa.

Errrr...don;t ak Mamarazzi what is salsa ah...she doesn't know.....heard of the the dance salsa la but makan...errr...tarak tau la....

According to Papa chop some tomatoes, some smelly leaves, some onion and squeeze in some lime juice kau tim wor...so Mamarazzi mah went hunting for tomatoes lor.

Then Papa said have to peel the tomatoes skin and take out the seeds too. Aiks...crazy ah...peel the skin...how to peel la.....

Papa said easy...just "hiris"(slices?) a bit of the skin then pour hot water on top of the tomatoes.

After a hew minutes then can take out the tomatoes and you can see the "skin" started to peel.

Then can peel the skin lo...easy like peeling banana skin. Dice the tomatoes

and the smelly leaves

Opss...no oinions....hentam la.....mix everything together and put into the fridge. When it's chilled then nice to eat lor.

Eat with this nice nice...But I don't like...I like the "keropok" without the salsa.

But cannot eat too much oh else mouth kena ulcer leh....

  11. Love salsa, but can't be backside-d to make my own even though I sort of know what goes into it. That, and I'll probably be the only one eating, so no point also..

I don't really like smelly green stuff (coriander, daun sup, etc) and raw onions, but I'll get over that for salsa and pico de gallo.. there's also chilli in salsa for the kick, but I get that you need to make it kid friendly :)
