Cheese!...Immediately after dinner we head to "survey" the BBWS. yeah yeah....we arrived there it was already 8.35pm...closing time was 9pm but...just survey survey mah....
The crowd seems to be reluctant to leave though it's so near closing time
Sue Grafton V for Vendetta....latest book leh.....Mamarazzi have the whole series from A-V...now waiting for the W to be publish.
Hey...something new leh...bargain corner RM1 books. BBWS did not have this in previous sale. Found a few good books from this Bargain corner.
In fact she also bought a stack of kids books for my whole class...after all RM1 only mah...15 pupils in my class....cheap cheap. I had fun distributing the books to my classmate with the Principal's permission.
35minutes only...managed to grab so many books. Mostly mine. So many RM3 books leh. Wanna know what I found? Check out at my Facebook.
Mamarazzi was super thrilled when she found SWEET OFFERINGS by Chan Ling Yap. She had read BITTER-SWEET HARVEST by the same author and loved it very much. Never imagine that she could get her hands on Sweet Offering so soon.
Also found The Kite Runner comic book(is it called comic??) by Khaled Hosseini
Mamarazzi and me full full with books liao but Papa still hungry leh....what to do?
Lucky Auntie CC told us that there is one famous Terminal Satay Zul located opposite the hotel.
Zoom zoom zoom....we went to tapau the satay.
Wah lau eh...got separate window to order Takeaway leh...
Chicken 70sen/stick, beef 80sen/stick, mutton rm1/stick, Venison RM1.200stick, rabbit TM1.40/stick, beef tripe 70sen/stick, Liver RM1/stick and the nasi himpit(compressed rice) was rm2/set.
Pricey? hmmmm....not really coz there was a lot of meat in a stick of the satay. The Nasi Himpit set comes with cucumber and onion.
Taste wise for the meat was good but Papa still preferred the peanut gravy from Satay kajang Hj Samuri.
Nice or not the fridge magnet? Initially Mamarazzi wanted to buy . But then saw Mr Wolf at the sale. He gave us four Kuantan BBWS fridge magnet.
Mr Wolf told us his next stop will be Malacca on 9th-13th May 2013 and will head over to Johor on 24th May to 3rd June 2013.
Nah... won't be hunting the Wolf la coz will be having my first ever examination (rotan mali oh if fail) during this period but for you guys who are able to go, do pay The Big Bad Wolf Sale a visit. Heard there will be a lot of new and exciting books as there will be new shipment coming in.

Wow! You actually went to Kuantan to buy books! I heard it from the girlfriend and I love books too so was quite impressed by that. I didn't know there's a Kite Runner comic! :x
I would love to have that - should have asked her to ask you to help get that for me when she told me you're there. Haha! It looks nice, I read graphic novels too, and collect some (mostly SK's Dark Tower and Gaiman's Sandman).
Do you have an extra copy of the Kite Runner comic by any chance? :D
Didn't really buy that much in Kuantan. Saja join in the thrill.
DeleteDidn't know you like The Kite Runner else would have bought another copy.
Didn't notice much of SK books there. Limited choice for sci-fic/fantasy this round. But terrific selection on children books.
Anyway these depends on their shipment which comes in monthly.
Thanks for The Kite Runner graphic novel! :D
