Mother's Day Celebration at Xin Cuisine, Hotel Concorde and Bookxcess

Sunday morning I wake up early. Mamarazzi still "merajuk" at me for not "belanja" her the evening before.

Okay la...Papa said jom let's go eat dim sum...Papa said use my "angpau" money since I made Mamarazzi merajuk...Asked me want to go nearby or far far away for dimsum and I replied "a bit far one but not too far"

Off we went....Pass by the bicycle place....pass by KLCC....arrived at a hotel. Mamarazzi said "Uh-Oh...you're in trouble coz pricey place leh".

Oh well......

The restaurant was not full yet when we went in.

Waitress pushing the Dim Sum cart around. We ordered some dimsum.

At one point, one of the waitress asked if Mamarazzi wanted more dim sum which Mamarazzi replied said we will order some more after we finished those on the table; to which the waitress replied if want to take  better take now. Later no more.

Mamarazzi was quite pissed-off   put off with the tone of the reply. The cart obviously have baskets full of dimsum and the kitchen would surely replenish it as and when it finished.

Okay la..the waitress may have meant well but then the way it was said was not that nice. After all if we order too much dimsum, we may not be able to finish them before they cool down. Mamarazzi hates having cold dimsum.

Papa said this Char Siew thingy is delicious. I wanted to try too la...

Alamak..."pedas"(spicy). My chopsticks "ter-dipped" into the chili sauce and I unknowingly put it in my mouth.

Fire! Fire! gimme ice......errr....too bad Everyone seems to be super busy. Mamarazzi asked for ice from a few of them but no reply.

Finally one "heard" gua coz she came back with a glass of ice.

Papa also wanted ice but it was quite some time before someone noted his request

MMm.... I had better be careful where I poke my chopstick.

After we had finished, it took some time for the bill to arrive. Paid. Wait some more for the change.

Off we went to Petaling street to get Roasted Duck from Mamarazzi's favourite Roast Duck stall.

Next stop...BookXcess. Yup...they were having Mother's Day promotions. 20% off for 50 titles recommended for mothers.

Buy above RM50, get a Carnation and a free photo session with mom.

Needless to say of course la bought more than RM50.Twp wipe off books for me and three fictions for herself. Mamarazzi got herself a Pink Carnation..

Me...I've got photo session with Mamarazzi lor.

There were loads of nice costumes there by De One Baby & Family (Professional) Digital Photo Studio. We have the option to top up some money to get a batch of nice photos for me but Mamarazzi was too stingy.

Nope...she said just snap the 4R photo will do . Some more ask the guy to "edit out" her pimples. Hmm....I wonder whether he will do that or not.

He "shoot" me ...I "shoot" him....though my photos are blurred la.

Errr.....cannot get the photo immediately. Earliest will be on Friday or Saturday.

Makan full already....shopping also full already......time to sleep lo.....

This weekend  17-19th May , Bookxcess Mother's Day celebration deal is still on. Ya...can still have photo session and join the Mother's Day contest. But if not mistaken, no more Carnations. Check out their Facebook for further information. Mana tau, Bookxcess might throw in a surprise or two.

Disclaimer : This is not a paid post for the above restaurant, studio and bookstore. Saja sharing Mother's Day experience.

    1. Welcome to the authentic Hongkong-style dim sum! You go to one in NZ, also exactly like that. And I saw in one overseas website, we Asians are supposed to be used to such rude and loud dining environment. They think we're so uncultured! Tsk! Tsk!
