Quite some time ago, Auntie YL gave Mamarazzi two packets of Mo Sang Kor White Pepper Soup.
Seems instruction is simple enough. Just add chicken meat or any kind of meat...some peppercorns and boild. Mamarazzi omit adding MSG
Because MSG have already been listed in the ingredient
add some button mushroom as seen in the restaurant
Boil for one hour.
There! White Pepper Pork Tripe Soup.
Hmmm.....something is missing la
I think she should add a tomato and a bit of preserved vegetable(Ham Choy) . Then the taste would be perfect liao. Agree?
This is the singapore style bak kut teh!
ReplyDeleteIs it? dunno what style
DeleteWish I could taste it!
ReplyDeleteThink Chinese Restaurants should have this over there
DeleteYummmmm!!!! I like!!! No liver?
ReplyDeletenope...didnt put

ReplyDeleteEasy to make :)
DeleteThe young 'taste tester' may end up being a great CHEF someday --since he has so many good ideas for your dinners.... I agree that a tomato might help the taste... YUM.

A wonderful weekend to you too Elaine

DeleteThink this only in Malaysia as i don't think i saw the Mo Sang Kor White Pepper Soup here...
ReplyDeleteooo....dont have ah
Deletewah, it's Mamarazzi's cooking time!! hehehe, but this time round maybe the recipe is simple and the method is convenient, so Mamarazzi no need to improvise and create her own, haha!! but one thing Uncle SK like is, Mamarazzi checked the content of the soup package and decided not to add more MSG!! this is very smart of Mamarazzi, thumbs up for her!! she is indeed not sotong all the time lah, muahaha!!
ReplyDeleteMuhahaha...cannot be sotong all the time la...else botak ka liao
DeleteUncle SK's daddy never use this kind of soup packet to cook pork tripe soup, straight away he do like normal soup using the bones, then throw in the pork tripe and peppercorn only.. errr, Uncle SK wonders, did Mamarazzi take all the trouble to wash the pork tripe ah?? adui, that would be so many work, so tedious and troublesome leh~~
ReplyDeleteif dont wash later stinky leh.....
Deleteoooiiii?? need to add tomatoes and salted veggie inside ke?? oh, that would be another style already right?? Uncle SK's home punya just the pork tripe or sometimes add in the button mushrooms only.. but would be nicer if also add in salted veggie hor?? haha.. maybe with tomatoes, then put in tofu also nice kan?? hahaha.. the more excited the more things wanna tambah, later become ABCEDFG soup already~~ :D
ReplyDeleteCoz Mamarazzi ate before at Desa Mentari Sunway. The stall sells this soup and he added tomato and salted vege. sedap
DeleteIts nice by itself but I think a bit salted veg will elevate it further.
ReplyDeleteyea....next round must try
DeleteSmall kucing learns from a young age the importance of being topless. Good, later when you grow up, train up the six pack then you can go break many girls' hearts XD
ReplyDeleteNo, no tomatoes and ham choy in white pepper soup. That is Penang style, no good, don't learn the wrong things!
Muhahaha.....house very hot la...so pakai sarong only lo.
Delete6 packs? tulang got leh....
I'm impressed! I heard it's very tedious to clean pig tripes.
ReplyDeleteMamarazzi heard that too
DeleteLooks good, I can have a big bowl of rice with that!!
ReplyDeleteya lor...can slurp slurp
DeleteSmall kucing can tahan the peppery taste? Why does he look so glum in the photo?
ReplyDeleteMau seribu daya...LOL.....glum coz of the green "smelly" vege...doesnt like that
DeleteSmall kuching so strong ah! Rainy weather and you are topless :)
ReplyDeleteI also like salted vegies and tomatoes in my soup to boost my appetite.
drink liao the soup can be very hot leh
DeleteHmm main ingredients are pepper, MSG and salt. Errr. Maybe put in meat and real ingredients, then whack in salt and lots of pepper will already do the trick.
ReplyDeletenext time try that
DeleteThat soup looks like something I would really like.
ReplyDeletemamarazzi love it
