Short Visit to Royal Musuem Kuala Lumpur & Batu Caves

The day after visiting Ipoh, we went to Petaling Street to fetch Papa's friends. Aiyak...they were having breakfast at Hon Kee Porridge.

While they were having breakfast, Mamarazzi went and buy half a Roast Duck from Sze Ngan Chye Reaost Duck.

Uiks....surprise surprise......now they have a restaurant in Kepong liao.

Well, they should have started it much earlier la since this stall have been very popular for decades.

Noted....one of these days must go and try out the food at the restaurant.

Our half a roast duck....minus many pieces that Mamarazzi and Papa ate in the car while waiting.

First stop....the Old "Istana"(Palace).  Found that it's now being converted into the Royal Museum of Kuala Lumpur.

While Papa friends when down to snap some photos, I also kiasu la.

Actually of those people who knows how to snap pic, it would be very scenic. See the big old trees behind of me.

 Cool or not?

Saw many people went in to the palace compound. It used to be locked. There is a small fees to pay if wanna visit the Museum.

We didn't pay. Just went near the gate and snap some pics.

Gosh! That is where our Agong stayed ah? So big place leh. Hmmm.......if my house is that big, I will be in big trouble lo...it would takes days to clean up.

Trying to snap a "swinging" pic....failed...looks like am getting to heavy for Mamarazzi to carry lor.

Next stop...another historical place... Batu Caves. It's one of the most popular Hindu shrine to visit. It's dedicated to Lord Murugan

And there are a lot of naughty monkey around...just like this one....was snapping photo when it came and chase me.

Darn "ganas" leh. Dunno where it stole a pen. Saw it chew and chew and chew the pen till broken to million pieces.

There 272 step to the top of the caves. Salute Papa's friends....they went and climb up all the way to the top.

For me, I waited at the foot hill and "chase" bubbles. The vendors very clever ah....kept blowing bubbles at kids so that the parents will buy his wares.

Nope....Mamarazzi didn't buy any for me.

Instead she bought me an ice cream la. Next stop...where ah......

  18. I have never been to the old palace. Must go one day to look see look see how big it is inside. Small Kucing is having so much fun posing for photos at both places.

How come Small Kucing did not want to walk up the steps to the caves? Have he been up there? Nice to explore the caves - very mysterious. I am sure he can walk up the stairs with no problem at all since he is so active.

Mamarazzi gotta be careful. Carrying Small Kucing now to swing her can hurt her back if not careful.

Kucing family is so nice to play tourguide to Paparazzi's friends.
